Chapter 16

"Where's Ashton?" I ask them, they shrug. So, I decide to go outside to check for him. He's still talking on the phone with someone and he sounds mad that he doesnt even realise I'm already standing right behind him. He sounds different when he's mad.

Finally, he realises I'm here when just I'm about to go back inside because I dont want to bother him. Maybe, it's just really important.

"Judith.." He calls out. Okay. Maybe, he's kinda having a problem. I understand.

"Oh, hi! Didn't mean to bother you. Just checkin you out!" I laugh nervously. He stares at me for a while then goes back to talk with whoever that is. I wait for him to say something to me again. "Will call you back." He says on the phone then smiles at me.

"Sorry, a little emergency." He laughs. I nod and start to walk back inside. Same happening. My mother, Michael and Luke seem really cool with each other. Ashton and I both say "Hey" as we sit down to join them again.

The whole time, I remain silent while Ashton joins them talking about random things. Actually, I feel out of place. Until at past 11, when they finally decide to go home. And that's when I feel tired.

"So, hey, I had a great night. The food was amazing!" Michael almost shouts. Like, he sounds so happy.

"Definitely. Thank you, Judith. Special thanks to Jane" Luke agrees.

"Right. Thank you, Jane. Hope to see you again soon. I had a great night. Thanks for the invitation" Ashton says. Long goodbyes are awkward.

"Not a big deal! I should be the one thanking you guys! Thank you for celebrating with me. It was fun!" My mom says happily.

"Thank you for coming guys." I just tell them because I feel tired.

"You are so lame, Judith. I'm very disappointed" Michael says which makes us all crack up, though.

"I feel tired. Unlike you. You're always energetic." I laugh.

"Well, it's just I'm having fun" He smiles to my mom. And I swear, that moment, I feel like he's flirting with her and I badly hope he's not. I just cant. I won't be able to handle it.

"Okay. Anyways, we need to leave. It's kinda late and I need to finish something." He says again. Finally, it's a good bye. Mom hugs Michael and Luke one last time before they start the car, leaving us three.

"And thank you again, Ashton. Glad you had fun" Mom hugs him for the hundredth time. "Im going inside. Gonna clean out there. Ashton, take care! Drive safe, okay?" She reminds him then leaves us alone outside.

As soon as mom leaves us, he pulls me closer to him.

"Wish I could spend more time with you tonight, now that we're alone" He looks me. "Yeah, me too" I smile at him.

"Next time, I will make sure we have more time together" He smirks which sends shiver to my body. "Cant wait" I give him a smirk too.

"See you tomorrow" He says and Im about to respond when he immediately kisses me. It's started deeply, like, he's hungry. I hug him tighter. He pulls me closer than ever. There's literally no space between us. Just our clothes.

"Damn" He curses between our kiss while he smiles. We dont stop kissing, though. Biting, kissing, back scratching until he kind of moves that gives us a little space then his hands suddenly make their way inside my shirt, to my bosom and to my stomach. Im surprised but I let them. I continue kissing him and he kisses harder this time.

It feels like no one wants to stop but I have to. I cant breathe. I laugh as I try to inhale some air again after a couple of minutes. His nose leaning against mine. He's smiling.

I know its been way too fast between us but I cant stop. I dont believe in waiting when the chance is already running after you. He likes me and I like him. Plus, im enjoying his company. Im not like in love already even though its been like a month since i know him.

"I seriously dont want to go home now" He says and that makes me giggle.

"We'll see each other tomorrow" I say as I stand a little properly. Still hugging him, though.

"I kinda want to tell your mom my car wouldnt start and ask her if I could stay tonight" He smirks.

"Gosh, Irwin. I promise, we will spend more time tomorrow." I laugh as I pull him closer, kissing him again. "Dont you feel tired? Its been a long day. Im kinda tired" I carefully tell him, kissing him everytime I pause.

"Tomorrow" He says. Okay. Tomorrow." He laughs then gives me a long kiss for the last time. "Gonna leave now or I will decide my car wont start" I laugh at his words.

"Good bye" I smile at him. "Good bye, Judith" He tells me.

"Okay" I say, standing properly this time. No more hugging. "Take care. Text me when you get home!" I continue.

"Bye. Have a good night." He hugs me fastly then kisses me again before he finally walks onto his car.

When he leaves, my phone rings at the same time. I dont bother to even look at the caller's id, I just answer it right away.

"Judith. Hi." Says the voice that's way too familiar to me. It's Cal.

"Hey, whats up? Thought you're already sleeping" I say sarcastically, knowing we're both aware that he lied to me.

"Judith, can I still come over?" He asks.

"Wait, what?" I respond. "Cant sleep and Im hungry" He immediately says.

"Will ask mom. Are you sure? Its late. Hold on." I answer, making my way to where mom is.

"Cal wants to come over" I whisper to my mom. She gives me a confused look. "I know, I know. So, what?" I say, giving her the same confuse look.

"Well, there's still food and he can even stay tonight" Mom announces and I give her a knowing look. Like, why would she say that? She smirks at me. My mom is the weirdest.

"Okay. You heard her." I say to Cal. "Im really tired. But screw it." I smile as if he can see me.

"Give me 5 minutes" He says. "Dont drive that fast, you idiot. I will wait. Drive carefully." I tell him.

"See you" He says then hangs up.

I'm really tired. But screw it.
