The room suddenly became quiet, with the fire crackling. All the gods and demigods looked at Hecate in shock.
"Haha...Nice one Hecate..." Apollo gave a weak laugh and ended up with a silver arrow too close to his head for his comfort.
"Stop joking around, Apollo! This is seriously bad!". Artemis said.
" What happened?" Aphrodite asked concernedly. "It seemed that Chronus and Ananke had destroyed the mist before fading. "Hecate answered, a look of fear on her face.
"One of us need to work undercover in the mortal world so that we will understand what they will think of us" Athena suggested, her being the wisdom goddess after all. Zeus nodded.
Percy stood up," Lord Zeus, I would like to go for this. I could learn more about the mortal world and catch up with what I have missed over the past 3 centuries."
Zeus nodded. "Council Dismissed!" Zeus shouted, a bolt of lightning striking his throne, causing smoke to rise. When the smoke cleared, Zeus was nowhere to be seen. Some of the gods muttered Drama Queen ，before flashing out one by one.

Percy somehow got a job at a high school, becoming a janitor. He wasn't amused at the job Zeus had given him but understood that Zeus gave him the job so that he could work undercover and not be suspected.
Then, there was an announcement on the loudspeaker for all students and staff to meet at the school hall for a talk from the government. Percy grimaced and walked to the hall as the kids all rushed past him.
When everyone had settled down, a man in a suit walked up to the stage and said in a very serious tone," Please do not freak out when I say this. " He took a deep breath and look over at the school's population. "It seems that the Greek Gods are real. We have proof. There is a giant city floating above the Empire State Building AND it looks exactly like the palace where the Greek Gods lived. There is also a mysterious camp, well, it looks like a camp, located at Long South Island. We believed that it is the camp for demigods. the government advise you to be cautious not to say anything to that disrespects the Greek Gods. Also, if you know any of your friends who are demigods, please report them at 654-432-1209( Number is random). we do not know if they are dangerous or not. We must be cautious as they may act like humans, but they are not. Common symptoms they have are dyslexia or ADHD, please do not try to hide them. As we speak we are trying to get contact with the gods. Also, there are monsters around. If you see any of them, please do not engage with them."
"If you do not know who the Gods are, I will list the 15th Main Gods, the Olympians. Yes.15, not 12. There is Zeus, God of the Sky and King of Gods. Hera, Goddess of Marriage and Queen of Gods. Poseidon, God of Seas. Demeter, Goddess of Agriculture. Hades, God of the Underworld. Hestia, Goddess of the Hearth. Athena, Goddess of Wisdom. Hermes, God of Messengers. Aphrodite, Goddess of Love. Hephaestus, God of the Forge. Artemis, Goddess of the Moon. Apollo, God of the Sun. Ares, God of War. Dionysus, God of Wine. And lastly, Perseus, God of the North. All the domains of the Gods are just the main one, they have more. It seems that Hestia and Hades were added back to the council, and there is Perseus, who is 'promoted' to an immortal because of his contributions?" The guy said the last part unsurely. As the guy talks about the Greek Gods, Percy excused himself to go to the restroom and teleported to the throne room.
Percy changed to his wolf form and made a large howl, then changed back to normal and sat back on his throne. One by one, the gods flashed in.
"What is it, son? "Poseidon asked with concern. "They have found us, and the demigods are in danger. They plan to do experiments with the demigods. And it's not for the faint-hearted. we need to act fast if we want the demigods to be alive. " "We need a plan," Athena suggested. The other gods nodded.
