Chapter Three

Sam, Colby, Jake, and you were all sitting around the living room watching Aaron play Fortnite. It was a casual day, until we heard Devyn and Corey start yelling at each other.
"What is going on?" You say as you get up and walk towards the stairs.
"Y/N, wait," Jake calls after you.
"What?"
"Don't interfere with a couple."
"I'm going upstairs to help."
"N..." You cut him off by running up the stairs.
You approach their door, and still hear them arguing. You gently knock on the door.
"Devyn, Corey?"
Corry throws the door open, sees it's you and laughs.
"Y/N, this is a prank." He whispers to you.
"They're not gonna come up the stairs if they only hear you arguing. You need 'something to happen'."
"Run downstairs and say, 'Corey just pushed Devyn' or something like that, get them to come upstairs." Devyn whispers to you while Corey is still yelling to make it seem real.
"Ok, I'll do that." You immediately start running down the stairs, running to the boys.
"Corey just pushed Devyn, and I think she's hurt! You need to go stop Corey!"
Jake and Colby both immediately jump up. Colby runs upstairs, immediately followed by Sam, but Jake runs to you.
"Are you ok Y/N?" He asks.
"Yeah, I'm fine, but Devyn's not." You say as you turn and run upstairs. Jake hesitates for a little then follows you upstairs. You run in as you hear Corey yell, "WELCOME TO THE PRANK WARS BROTHERRRR." You start laughing at the boys' reactions.
Colby looks at you, "Y/N, you knew this was a prank?!"
"Not at the beginning, but since I was the only one to respond, they got me in on it."
"So not nice." Colby remarks as he leaves the room. Sam high fives Corey and Devyn then follows Colby. You follow Sam outta the room, leaving Jake behind. You all go sit back on your places on the couch.
Is Aaron just not worried about anything except Fortnite? He never moved a muscle."
"Yo, Aaron, why didn't you go see what was happening? You didn't move an inch."
Did Sam just read my mind?
"Did something happen? I was so focused I didn't even see you guys leave."
"Wow, Aaron. You're such a great roommate, so glad to have you." Colby nudges Aaron, receiving a glare.
