I smell the scent of the apple pie I just made, it's still in the oven but the whole house smells like it.

I always loved baking since it was a habit of my grandma, when she got bored she just baked, even when she would be sick as hell she still baked and for some reason I took that form her, I always looked up to her since she was so strong.

unfortunately she died 4 years ago so I'm kinda keeping her in all of our minds by baking.

The apple pie is my favorite, it was her own special recipe. 

I walk to the oven to take a look and proudly take it out when I see that it's done, I still have to learn to bake it like grandma but I'm getting there.

"Mom! Dad! It's done!" I yell and they make their way downstairs.
"Woah, Faith, that smells amazing" My mom says as she kisses the crown of my head.

"It smells like always, I'm proud of you" My dad says then.

That's right, as you've probably noticed my name is Faith, I'm an 18 year old student. You may think Faith is not a Korean name and that is true, my parents have lived in the United Kingdom for a while, they got to know a lot of names there and Faith was their favorite.
I now live in Busan but I plan to move to Seoul whenever I have enough money to get a small apartment there.

I take the first bite of the pie and nod to my parents, they take a bite too.

"Woah, this is amazing, You baked a lot of apple pies but this one is definitely in your top 5" My dad compliments me.

"Dad you always say that" I laugh with my mouth full.

"I know, you just get better everytime" He tells me and I smile shyly as I eat the rest.

"Thanks for this Faith" Mom says and we give each other a small smile before I take their plates to clean everything.

"DoJoon I never said that! Stop making shit up!" My mom yells, I roll my eyes.
This is usual for them, fighting at night..

"Shut up, I heard it with my own ears, you may not believe me but I'm 100% Sure" My dad yells then and I sigh before taking my earphones and put them in my ears.

Let's see what do we have in the playlist today.

I scroll through my Spotify list and tap on bts.

I close my eyes while I silently hum along with the song.

I fall asleep with the light on.

MIC MIC BUNGEE

I suddenly am wide awake with that line and feel my heart by the shock of the sudden sound in my ears.

"Aissh that was loud" I mumble to myself as I pinch the bridge of my nose, I could've expected it though..

I take my phone to see that it's 1.30 AM, ugh so early.

Well, now that I'm wide awake I should at least do something, it's Saturday night, I have nothing to do tomorrow so why not go out for a walk.

I grab the first oversized hoodie I see and wear shorts under it.
Ready to go I peek into my parents bedroom to see only my mom laying in bed, ugh that means my dad sleeps on the couch for the millionth night in a row.
