The air was cold. Your body was sore. A warm mass layed next to you. Light awoke you from your blissful dreams. Groaning, you tried to bury your face into the warm wall only for it to start shaking.

“Morning.~” Sangwoo chuckled. You opened your eyes just as his lips pressed against yours. After a moment, you pulled away.

“Good morning.~” You shivered as another breeze grazed your body.

“Cold?” He held you closer against him. You nodded. It seemed impossible he wasn't cold in this weather. “We should get going then.”

Sighing, you let go your heater as he untangled himself from you and stood up. You stayed huddled in the blankets that were wrapped around you as a burrito as you watched him cover his sexy body.

When he was done dressing, you were still laying in the blankets. He brought over your dress, handing it to you. “You need to get dressed.”

You nodded and begrudgingly left your cozy cocoon and stood up next to him. “Mind helping me?~” you asked with a smile. He shook his head, his eyes trailing over your nude and shivering body, and you put your arms above your head. He pulled the tight material down on you. You turned around and he zipped it up for you.

“I'm sorry, but your panties didn't make it.” He held out your heels and you leaned against him as you slipped them on.

“Oh well.~”You had a feeling that wouldn't be the last time he'd shred a pair. Especially if you tried to settle for him. But you weren't going to settle at all. Although with him you could but you didn't want to. Sangwoo noticed you were still shaking from the cold and he picked up the blanket, wrapping it around your frame. You smiled at him.

“Thank you.”

He nodded and picked up the picnic basket, placing the leftover candles that had long since burned themselves out.

“Here.”

At first you were confused why he handed you the heavy basket but then your question was answered as he swept you off your feet in one motion. Surprised, a squeal tore from your lips and you wrapped your free arm around his neck. Sangwoo seemed to enjoy your squeal and chuckled softly as he carried you back to the car. You only got one last fleeting glance over Sangwoo’s shoulder at the beautiful green clearing and blue ocean.

You peck your lover's jaw lovingly and a smile made its way on his face. “Thank you again for last night Sangwoo.”

“Of course Y/n.” He opened the passenger seat and set you down inside before closing the door and going around to get in the driver's seat. You watched him as he started the engine. The heated air came on you and your hands instantly gravitated to it.

“Shall we go back to my place?~” Sangwoo asked as he pulled back out onto the road to head home.

“Aren't you needy.~” you chuckled. “But no, I should really get home. I have work this afternoon and I need to get ready."

Sangwoo chuckled with you and nodded to your response. “Want to have dinner again? I can make you something at my place. Does Friday night sound good?” Why do I have the feeling you just want to find an excuse to get me to go to your house? Do you want to tie me up in some sort of secret basement or something? Pfft, like this innocent man would be capable of something like that.

“No. I'm busy then too… Maybe we can meet up next Wednesday? It's my next day off work.” You weren't actually busy Friday night, but there was already a small pain in your brain since you hadn't let yourself… unwind completely. Killing was an addiction for you. Both psychological and physical.

“Sure.” He didn't seem to happy about it. That was almost a week away-today was Thursday. “You sure you can't meet up  anytime sooner?”

“Hm… Well I do get coffee every morning. It's at the same place we went. If you really want to hang out, you can join me every morning. But I'd have to leave right after.” You doubt he would accept. He probably was wanting a fling. After all, that was all this was to you, right?

“That's fine. I can do that.” What? He actually accepted? This was not what you had been expecting.

You smiled in response, concealing your confuzzlement. “I guess I'll be seeing a lot more of you now, huh?”

“Yeah.” A moment of silence filled the car before Sangwoo figured out a way to keep the conversation flowing, “What do you do for a living?”

“I'm a therapist specifically for people who suffered traumatic experiences like what happened to me. Like what happened to you.” Your tone faded to seriousness and your eyes became downcast. It was all the perfect show of utter innocence. You just enjoyed their misery. “I just can't believe there are monsters out there like my mother and whoever killed your parents…” you shook your head silently as you continued, “To think that a human can guiltlessly harm another is beyond me.”  Inside you were balling from laughter. Oh if he only understood the irony in your words. But since he was just a normal, sexy guy, there was no way he could understand the infatuation of causing another's death.

Sangwoo’s hand squeezed your thigh reassuringly. You looked up to see his sad and gentle smile, “Hey, at least we have each other now.”

“Yeah.” You return the same sad smile and peck his cheek sweetly.

After that Sangwoo turned on music for the rest of the ride to your house. It was at a perfect volume where it was loud enough keep the silence from awkwardness while it was quiet enough to allow for conversation. The car ride home seemed a lot shorter and you waved goodbye to Sangwoo as he drove away after dropping you off.

You pick up the bag of apples he'd left you and headed inside your home. A ringing echoed in your ears. A groan left your lips as you struggled to get inside. You continued to struggle to place the apples on the kitchen counter before kicking off your shoes and getting a glass of water. Your head was throbbing and it wasn't a hangover. No, although you had been tipsy last night, you hadn't drunk that much. It was what you recognized to be a withdrawal symptom from your addiction: killing.

For most people who killed, they either do it by accident, with reason, for fun, or through some combination of the three. You did it with reason but unlike most, your reason was based upon your mental addiction to the feeling it gave you. Without it, your body went through different levels of pain until you killed your new victim. Since your plan had been to kill Sangwoo and you clearly didn't, you missed a victim and now you were facing the repercussions of it. Not to mention whatever drama came of what was between you two.

But there was no time to dilly-dally. You showered, changed, and headed back out to your office with that throbbing headache. You had a patient coming scheduled for 3:30pm and it was already two as you left.

Despite the aching pain in your brain and the tiring prospect of your work, your mind couldn't leave behind the thought of Sangwoo. You still hadn't solved the mystery surrounding his familiarity. His parents died too long ago for you to cause that but there was something new about him that stayed on your mind. Were you falling for him?

Nah.
