Amber looked pissed, and his beading sweat irritated him more.
His expression was a mixture of irritation and apathy. Tyler didn't feel comfortable with it. He was worried. Tyler tried to read Amber's emotions, but he couldn't. He knew he wasn't just mad. They went back to the same hallway. It didn't seem to be the same hallway as before because of how well lit and luxurious it was. The floor was now carpeted with lion's fur, and the oil painted portraits were sealed in solid gold frames. They entered an open door and went back to the outside where the chariot and wind horses were waiting. Sunshine swept across their skins, and the same familiar place appeared right beyond the exit. Tyler and Amber were both astounded. They both looked back and saw the same drawbridge as before. The hallway was gone.
"How did we?!" Tyler asked in disbelief.
"Sorcery," Amber answered flatly.
Tyler studied him. It was kind of annoying how his mood switched so fast. One moment he was hyper then the next he wasn't.
"Shall we go then?" Zephyros gestured to his chariot.
"Wait," Eros called. "Tyler... what I wanted to tell you earlier was..." he took a quick deep breath "I'm afraid this kingdom is in great danger, too. The Dark Lord is now desperate. He's so much powerful than before. I need your help. The truth is–" he squeezed his eyes "–he had killed all of your other siblings, and you were the only one left."
Tyler's throat went dry. He felt like Eros' words were skies and earth that flattened him in the midst. He just wanted to get back together with his mum and cuddle his comfortable Pikachu pillow and fail History subject over again. He wanted his old life back. But he also needed to face his fate. He doesn't know how he could handle all the pressure they have put into him all at once. He stared at Fergus. He had no idea how long they've been staying in the kingdom because Fergus was like growing every hour. He was like growing up in a fast forward.
"What do you mean that they're killed?" He snapped.
"The prophecy." He said "Go now, Tyler. Talk to Noble Naflamuss. It's his job to tell you everything."
Pothos landed beside Eros. Though he only had one wing, he could still fly and descend like that.
His expression was eager, and his eyes were burning with so much energy. Tyler wondered what had got into him. Maybe Aphrodite said something delusional or tricked him, and he instantly said yes.
"I'm coming with you, Tyler." He closed his wing.
Zephyros's eyes widened and gave him a holy grilled cheese look. Even Eros also couldn't believe what he just asserted.
"But you're a kid," Amber said honestly.
"And I'm a god. I might look like this but remember, I am still older than you." Pothos argued.
"Oh,"
"Are you being serious?" Zephyros asked. His tone was anxious, and he reminded Tyler of his mum. He recalled what his professor in English told them before. What comes around goes around.
"The seven aspects." He said. Eros and Zephyros remained withdrawn. The seven aspects seemed to concern the three of them and their whole kingdom.
"But..." panic crept in Zephyros's voice. Eros gave him an assuring and robust stare. He knew Pothos was strong and powerful enough to be on a journey with Tyler and Amber. He seemed like he wanted to protest, but his expression floundered almost immediately. He sighed then his expression went thin.
