"Why do you think nobody came back right after being sent here?" Amber asked. They were hiding behind a huge tree not far from the tower. Tyler was also trying hard enough to feed Fergus Salmon heads and Swoodsworth worms in silence.
"Mate, the temperature out here is far way too different from Las Ramblas." He made a little brr sound and then took out his wand, ready to set a campfire.
"Don't." Hannah stopped him. "There are still tourists around here. It's bloody 3 in the morning! Why don't they go to sleep?" She rolled her eyes.
"I think I might have an idea." Pothos pierced, massaging Fergus' head. "We can't go near there while this place isn't closed. Hannah, do you think you can use your dark magic? Can you hide this place in a large bush? Or make the place look like a forest?" He asked.
Hannah remained silent for a moment. Processing what Pothos had suggested. She thought she could make it, but she wouldn't be able to use any more spells right after that. It would drain her after.
"Bet I can. But, if anything goes bad in there, cover me up. I cannot use any more spells because that kind of magic would drain me." She explained. "I haven't perfected illusion magic yet. I'm a beginner."
"Don't worry about it. We'll cover you up." Tyler assured her. Patting Fergus' neck and wings. Fergus yawned and tucked his head under Tyler's left arm. Wanting his massages more.
"Hey, Tyler," Amber called.
"Do you think Fergus would like Salmon better or Haddock with tater tots?"
Tyler grinned a smile. "I think it's better if you ask him yourself." He said, pressing Fergus' cheeks.
Tyler and his friends waited for a while. After a few minutes, the tourists had already gone. The coasts were clear, and the tourists had already disappeared in the dark. The noises also disappeared right along with them.
Crickets chirped, and the night was already dead. Even their heartbeats would be too loud to hear. Pothos shot Hannah a 'go' look. Signalling her to start. Hannah nodded.
She made her way in front of the tower. Few feet apart, enough to see the whole exterior of the abandoned Torre Salvana. She snatched her wand out from her pocket, pitch black with an etched rose-shaped design in the middle.
"You ready?" Pothos asked in the distance. Hannah nodded at him and kicked open her legs. She positioned herself, aiming at the tower. She took a deep breath.
"Illufio Disapeto", She chanted under her breath. Black hollow smoke formed and churned at the tip of her wand. The smoke grew and filled the whole tower, blanketing it like an arm of a giant hugging it. Hannah's muscles tightened. Beads of sweat formed around her forehead. She could feel her body shaking and her gut getting squeezed like a soaked sponge.
A warm hand landed on her shoulder. She got distracted a little, but she didn't let her focus go. She gazed beside her and saw Amber using some strange soothing fire magic.
"Thanks."
"Anytime." They both smiled.

The moon shone beneath them like a giant silver spotlight, blanketing the whole place like a duvet. The night was as silent and clear as the river Lethe in the Underworld, unbothered and endless. The stars dotted the cosmos like a tossed broken diamonds. The cold wind blew softly as Hannah sat beside Fergus. She couldn't feel her limbs, and her head was like a helium-filled balloon. The moment when the whole tower was covered in an illusion of bushes and trees, she began losing her balance. Amber and the others caught Hannah and helped her sit beside Fergus.
