Peeta's POV -
I'm screaming for Katniss when all of a sudden, I see this bright light heading towards me. I think I am dying, but I get snatched up. "Wha- Hey! Katniss!" I scream even louder. I struggle to get down until I know that if I fall, I would die. I finally just let the claw drag me towards the sky. As I go higher, I can hear people's voices getting louder. "-getting these tributes again?" A woman answers him. "Cornelius wants to eliminate Miss Everdeen so he wants the boy." As I get pulled up into the hovercraft, I black out. I wake up in a white, clean room, surrounded by doctors. One woman comes over and asks me how I'm doing. I say that I'm fine. My head hurts as if I banged it on a rock. "Hello Peeta," a doctor that seams to be in charge says. "How are you?" Without letting me answer the question he continues. "Congratulations. You were the victor of the 75th Hunger Games. After Katniss Everdeen was killed by the lightning, you finished everyone off, one by one. It was quite spectacular. Now, I'm going to show you some pictures, and you tell me who it is, or was. Ready?" I nod my head. He holds up a picture of a man with beach blonde hair and dimples. He is holding a sugarcube. I know who that is. "Finnick O'Dair, District 4." "Excellent. Let's continue." He then holds up a picture of a girl with a crazed look in her face. She carries an axe and has pink tips at the end of her hair. "Johanna Mason, District 7," I say with complete calmness. "Perfect. Now, last one." This time, the doctor holds up a picture of a beautiful girl, with long brown hair that is in a braid. She carries a bow, and is smiling. Such a beautiful smile. I smile. "That's - that's umm..." Why can't I remember her name? I glance at the picture again. She seems to have become less attractive and has an evil looking smile. Her hand is reaching for and arrow. My head starts to hurt. "Katniss Everdeen, District 12. Why does she look so mean?" I ask. "Ah, well, you see, she is leading the rebellion. She will do whatever she can to eliminate anyone associated with the Capitol. She even killed her own ally. She is dangerous. She even tried to kill you." This shocks me. I feel a pang of hate erupt towards Katniss Everdeen as I swear to myself, I am going to kill her.
