Saving Caleo

Chapter 4

Jason's POV

Now Jason knew how Leo felt when they went on thier first quest. The 3rd wheel was the worst thing to be. He just stood there akwardly, his hands deep in his pockets. He just rocked back and forth on his toes in the white sand while Leo and Calypso reminisced and held each other.

"Grab all your stuff Cal." Leo said excitedly. Jason already knew what was coming next so he continued looking at the island. Was that a dinner table on the sand? Well that was stupid, someone could've fallen on that.

"What? Why?" she asked. Because we're breaking you out! Jason thought.

"I used my wish from the gods to let you go free," Leo looked at her unbelieving face, "For real this time." He smirked as she started jumping up and down. Did she have hot chocolate too? Jason wondered.

Calypso's face brightened. "No way!" She exclaimed. She started running towards her house, calling over her shoulder, "I'll go get my stuff!" FINALLY, Jason thought, his ADHD mind was about to explode.

Leo grinned as he watched her go, then he suddenly looked tired. His sugar-high had ended. Jason grinned as Leo ran after Calypso, screaming "Don't forget the hot chocolate!"

It wasn't until they got back on the Argo II that Leo introduced Jason to Calypso. Leo had introduced Calypso as his 'mystical Bahama Babe.' Until Calypso smacked him upside the head and introduced herself as Leo's girlfriend. That made both her and Leo turn bright red.

Leo then pushed Jason in front of her and introduced him as Leo's 'superman blonde bestie'. Then it was Jason who was smacking Leo upside the head. "I'm his best friend." Jason said, extending his hand.

Calypso giggled and shook his hand, "Leo's told me alot about you." She said. He probably talked about that time a ferret crawled into my food while I was talking to Thalia. I called down lightning accidentally and charred the ferret, my food, and Thalia, while screaming like a little girl. Thalia threw me into a support beam. Support beams are suprisingly sturdy...and painful.

"He didn't tell you the ferret story did he?" Jason was so close to falling to the ground and praying to every god he knew.

Calypso laughed again. "No he didn-"

"-oh thank god!" Jason interrupted.

Calypso smirked, "You didn't let me finish. No, he din't tell me that story, BUUUUUUUT I would love to hear it."

Leo laughed. "Don't worry Cal, I'll tell you ALLLLLLL about it. Every minute, every second, down to the very last detail." Then he started weaving the tale of Jason and the ferret. Starting with the burrito Jason had ordered.

Jason scowled and crossed his arms. He was thinking of so many bad things to say and do to Leo right now. Many involved curse words and gladius-throwing. But he didn't want to kill Leo while he was so happy, so he settled on this. "Hey Leo?"

Leo froze. His hands erratic from making multiple points. "Yeah Pikachu?"

"You suck."
