Merlin's POV

I was laying on Arthur's bed with my head against the headboard and the kings head was resting on my chest. I fiddled with his soft silky hair as he stressed about Godwyn.

"I don't know what to do Merlin. I can't marry Elena because I don't love her, I love you, and even if I do marry her, her and her father will take control and kill all the sorcerers anyways and Elena will be heir. She will be able to be queen if I die. And if I don't marry her, then all the sorcerers will die, and so will Efa, so I'll have no choice, I'll either have to find another heir really quickly, or I'll just have to marry her. I don't know what to do Merlin," he sighed and raised his hand so he was holding my face.

"I haven't enchanted you by the way... I wouldn't abuse my powers like that. And I don't know what you should do about Elena. If you banish them, then other kingdoms could attack. I think that they just want to take over Camelot. Don't marry her, Arthur, if you marry her and she becomes the heir, then they might plan to kill you so she becomes queen. Arthur, don't risk your life for this. I don't want to see you hurt, clot pole," I kissed his forehead and he chuckled at me. If he got hurt in anyway, I don't know how I would cope. But Efa won't be of 14 for a long time, so maybe in that time Godwyn will understand.

Godwyn's POV

This is perfect. Arthur has no choice but to marry my daughter, and when he does, Camelot will be mine. The main problem, is Merlin. That idiot manservant who happens to be a sorcerer. He has obviously enchanted his master of else why would Arthur love him so much? He is just a servant. I am eternally grateful to George for passing me this information, he is a bit annoying though, with no sense of humour or anything. I will remind Arthur, the day before the eve of Efa's 14th birthday and if he refuses, then he will have to watch his daughter and manservant die painfully and slowly.

"Elena, darling. You will be queen of Camelot in no less than 14 years and after the king is dead, the kingdom will be ours," she smiled and giggled. She is such a sweet grateful girl and I am proud of the woman she has grown into. She hugged my tightly and skipped off to her chambers to brush her hair or whatever else girls do in their free time.
