Pairing: Reyna X Leo

"Reyna!" Jason chased after her desperately. "Rey, please?"
Reyna whirled around, her composure long lost. "No, Grace. You lost every right to ever call me that again."
"Please, Rey~Reyna!" Jason grasped her arm gently, his long, slender fingers sliding across her smooth skin. She shivered under his touch, still looking ahead defiantly. "Piper said he would be the perfect match for you."
"So this for your the daughter of Venus?" She asked, hoping for him to deny it.
Jason removed his hand from her wrist and she immediately felt her insides plummet. "Reyna...I mean...you know..." Jason scratched the back of his neck guiltily.
"No, Grace." Reyna took a deep breath unsteadily. "You are not setting me up on a blind date just to make Piper happy."
"Reyna," Jason murmured, his head hung low with defeat. "Please. You sacrificed so much for this camp. Can't you please just do this once for an old friend?"
'Jace,' Reyna pleaded with Jason silently. 'Please don't make me. You know I'd do anything for you, but please. Not him. You're the one for me, not him...'
"Fine," Reyna sighed, searching for the only thing that would console her. She wasn't disappointed : it came a moment later.
"Rey! I mean...Reyna!" Jason's mouth split into a heartbreakingly handsome, overjoyed smile. It was because of her, but not for her. "Piper will be so pleased!"
Jason gave Reyna a quick side hug before dashing off to Piper like a love sick puppy. "Meet him at our coffee shop at four thirty!"
Reyna hugged her side, waiting before Jason disappeared before collapsing onto the cobbled streets of New Rome. "He said it was our shop, yet he sets other boys up with me there."
"Reyna, is that you?" A concerned voice inquired behind her. She turned to find the leader of Team Leo looking down at her, confused. She rose quickly, refusing his offering of his hand, hating when people looked down at her.
"Leo," Reyna acknowledged him curtly, wiping her hands in her jeans.
"Yeah," Leo grinned nervously, "um...you okay?"
"Of course," Reyna immediately recovered, putting her Praetor mask on, always hiding her true emotions.
"Reyna," Leo murmured quietly, searching her eyes relentlessly. "You don't need to pretend. You don't need to endeavor to earn my respect, I already harbor admiration for you. Enough admiration for an entire legion."
"Wow, Leo," Reyna smiled dryly. "That was surprisingly poetic."
Leo bent from his waist and swept his arm out in a bow. "I live to serve, milady."
Reyna suppressed her giggle, offering Leo a polite smile before checking her wristwatch. "Styx," she swore. "I'm late."
She gave Leo a reserved smile before hurrying away to the designated shop, five minutes late for her coffee date.
"Hephaestus' hammer," Leo also swore after finding out the time. "Shoot. I'm late for this blind date Jason set me up on. Apparently Beauty Queen said it would be the 'perfect match.'"
"Oh?" Reyna's brow furrowed. "Jason set you up on a blind date because Piper told him to? Me too."
"Really?" Leo grinned again. Reyna did not want to be in a coffee shop with him. Too much caffeine that could come in contact with him. "Thank the gods. I was pondering the worst case scenario, and considered standing her up, but..." Leo flashed her a flirtatious look. "I am the perfect gentleman."
Reyna shrugged, ignoring the familiar eruption of butterflies in her stomach, though it was more intense than with Percy and Jason. "It could be the worse, I suppose."
    "Shall we go, milady?"
Reyna rolled her eyes playfully, loosening up bit by bit with every moment she spent with Leo. "Of course, my lord."
