22. Hurricane Parents

I came back to the place Ant took me to the other day so I could clear my head cause if I didn't leave that classroom when I did, we would've been fighting and I probably would be in even more trouble than I already am. Whenever they do some shit to me and I get sensitive about it they always telling me that they were just playing and I need to stop being so soft but when the roles are reversed they wanna create this big ass scene like come on y'all supposed to be better than that. Right now I'm not even concerned about them anymore, what I'm really worried about is our parents. My ass is not ready for this whooping, and yes we do still get our asses beat at 17 years old. I won't be able to sit down for like a week. Maybe I should've thought this out a little better but what's done is done. I heard a car pull up and I saw Ant climb out of his car and make his way over to me.

"Come down here so I can fight you cause you know you ain't shit for leaving me like that."

"Lmfao. You funny." He helped me down from the treehouse and we sat down on the rock.

"So its a beautiful day outside," said Ant.

"Shut up stupid. So wassup. You were looking for me and now you found me."

"Yeah next time you wanna storm out in a dramatic way let somebody know that you are ok cause you could've gotten kidnapped or something then I would've been really sad."

"My bad, I just really needed some alone time."

"I hope you know that you got a couple of days of ISS and they called y'all parents so I just wanted to let you know that you are completely fucked."

"Shit. Why didn't you tell me that first you idiot? My mom is gonna tear me a new asshole. I'm seriously scared as fuck right now."

"You should be cause ain't nobody tell your grown ass to leave in the first place," said Ant. I just glared at the side of his face.

"But come on, we can talk about it more after you get something to eat."

"So are you paying or....?"

"OMG yes greedy, now let's go." He helped me off of the rock and we headed back to our cars. Ant pulled off and I followed behind. About 10 minutes later we pulled up into this diner called Daisy's. It looked really cozy and comfortable. Ant got us a booth and we sat down and the waitress took down our drink orders.

"Have you been here before Ant?"

"Nah, this is my first time just like you."

"So how did you find out about it?"

"I was just driving around one day when we first moved here and I just found a bunch of nice places so."

"You just got gas money to blow huh?"

"I got a lil sum sum."

"You know what you might get?" I asked him.

"I was thinking about getting the wings platter. What about you?"

"I'm gonna get the ribs platter with the two sides."

"That's cool. I got it."

"I was about to ask you cause I can eat. I'm not like one of these toothpicks walking around here that only order a salad and a glass of water."

"Why you tryna play me like I'm a broke nigga?"

"Lol. I'm just playing." The waitress returned with our drinks and our bread and took down our meal orders. She told us our meals would be out in about 20 minutes. We thanked her and she left.

"So do y'all argue like this all the time or?" asked Ant.

"I mean we've had our arguments here and there but I think this is the biggest one yet," I told him. "It's whatever though. They thought I was a bitch before, now imma really show them wassup."

"We haven't even made it through the first week of school yet, Lordt."

"That's fine, but all I know is my brothers and Aiden can all suck each other's dick so they can hop off mine."

"You are crazy, and what that nigga do to you now?"

"He was like he's gonna do him and I can do me and he caught an attitude and shit like nigga bye. How you expect me to automatically claim you if you never claimed me until another nigga started giving me attention. Now you want me to just be yours when you say so? Then this lightskinned nigga have the nerve to be mad at me like wtf."

"Y'all are too funny." Our waitress brought our food out and we dug in. We were going in so hard that we didn't even talk unless it was to ask each other to try the other's food. Other than that, we were just munching quietly. I didn't even finish half of my food cause I was so full already, so I just asked for a to go box for my food. Ant fat ass ate all of his shit and then ordered some more to go. We finished up with our meal, Ant paid the check and I left the tip and we headed back to our cars.

"I better see you tomorrow too, or I will put my hands on you."

"Yeah yeah. Thank you for today bestie. I know you gotta get back to class."

"Ohhhh. I done upgraded to bestie now? Ok bitch," he said in a feminine voice.

"Bye stupid," I said laughing.

"I'll text you later." He got in his car and pulled off. I think I'm just going to go to the park until it's time to go home. I might as well seeing as though my ass is grass when I get home anyways. I'm left all alone with my thoughts. I know it's only been 3 days since we got back to school and I've already put my trust into Jax and Ant. I know it's too soon but I can't really explain how they got me to be so comfortable with them in so little time and I don't trust people so easily. Why do you think I don't have any friends? Its kind of scary to me that I've somehow put my trust into them so quickly.I might be being naive but I get a good feeling about them. I hope God is showing me a sign because I know a storm is coming. Se la vie. 😔
