Y/N's POV:
I woke up and the first thing i did was to stare out my window beside my bed. It was heavily snowing, making me feel the Christmas spirit more intensely.
I checked the time and it was almost 12pm.
I quickly stood up and went to bathroom.
After a few minutes, i got dressed and went downstairs to the living room.
I saw my mom and dad cuddling on the couch. The fire on the fireplace was lighted.
It was a beautiful view.
Y/n: Good morning!
I said as I reached the end of the stairs.
M: Good Morning sleepyhead!
She chuckled and stood up.
Y/n: Merry Christmas!
M&D: Merry Christmas darling!
They stood up and and hugged me.

After breakfast...
I went in my room and decided to call Victoria.
We were barely talking as she was having a lot of problems besides her studies.
Then I remembered that it was almost 6AM there so I left it for later.

3 hours later...
M: Time for dinner!
I removed the earbuds from my ears and went down in the kitchen.
The amazing food my mom had cooked wasn't the only thing that caught my attention.
The figure sitting on the table was the one who left me shocked.
It was my grandma!
Y/n: Grandma?!
G: I missed you so much Y/n!
She stood up and hugged me tightly.
G: I could barely recognize you dear!
I tear slid down my cheek.
It was an emotional moment.
She was my only grandma in life.
My dad's parents and my mom's dad had all passed away. I didn't even have a chance to meet them.

After spending some quality time with my family I decided to go for a walk around the city.
While I was walking I videocalled Vic.
V: MERRY CHRISTMAS Y/N!
Y/n: Merry Christmas!
I chuckled.
V: Do you know where i am?
Y/n: Where?
She tilted her phone so that she can catch the person who was in the background.
Shawn!
Y/n: ARE YOU WITH SHAWN?
V: Yeah we are all at his house! There are some French relatives here as well and Shawn is always with his little French cousins.
She rolled her eyes.
V: Let's talk all together!
V: SHAWWWWWN! COME HERE!!!
Shawn started walking towards Vic and when he saw me through the videocall he grabbed her phone from her hands.
V: Aye!
S: Y/N! MERRY CHRISTMAS! How is Rotterdam?
Y/n: It's currently snowing!
I said and flipped the camera to show him.
S: Wow! Rotterdam it's beautiful!
Y/n: i know!
S: But you are too so turn the selfie camera again!
He laughed and I could feel my cheeks flushing.
Y/n: How is Canada?
S: Cool as always.
V: Okay enough! Y/n called ME not YOU!
Shawn stuck his tongue out as Victoria took her phone back.
S: Gotta go! Call me later!
Y/n: Sure thing!
V: Okay now tell me about Shawn!
Y/n: What do you want me to tell you?
I chuckled.
V: Do you still have a crush on him?
Y/n: What do you think?
V: I think you do but you hide it well!
Y/n: I'm a pro at these stuff!
We both laughed.
V: Well, we're gonna have breakfast now so we might talk later again.
Y/n: Ok, bye!!!
We hang up and I continued walking around the city, admiring every little detail of it!
A/n: short and boring af chapter! Next chapter is gonna be like this again. But, the best is yet to come ;)
