SHAWN'S POV:
Breaking up with Anastasia wasn't easy to handle.
I still haven't realized it; maybe due to the distance that is separating us.
Hanging out with my friends after that really made me feel better and realize that my friends are way more important and highschool relationships, indeed; they don't last forever.
Maybe I was taking it a little bit too seriously. Well, it doesn't matter now.
It was a beautiful journey while it lasted.
It's not like I'm completely over what we had and i don't think I ever will but time will help me move on.
S: Y/n!
Y/n: What?
I went downstairs and realized she was facetiming her parents.
S: Oh, uh.. nevermind I-
Y/n: Come here we were about to end the call.
She said something in French and put her laptop to the side of the couch.
Y/n: What is it?
S: I was thinking we should hang out on Wednesday. For my bir-
Y/n: NO! I mean... uh i don't know. Why?
S: It's my birthday and i don't wanna spend at home just like any other boring day.
Y/n: Uhh, you know, we could wait till Wednesday morning and decide something at that moment.
S: It's Wednesday in 2 days.
Y/n: Oh. Is it? Yea of course it is. I'm dumb.
S: Yes you are but that's not the thing now. Anyway, I'm gonna ask someone else.
Y/n: And what are you thinking?
S: I still haven't thought of anything that's why I asked you. I'm gonna ask the guys. And by the way tonight we said that we are going to a bowling centre. Do you wanna come?
Y/n: Yea, sure!
S: Alright.
I smiled and went back upstairs.
Y/n is a wonderful person.
This year she's done some pretty fucked up stuff that made me lose my shit but in the end everything was okay.
I'm thankful to her for tolerating me. I know that I get triggered very easily sometimes but i think I've improved that a bit. I feel like she was the one who made me realise that I was exaggerating. I thank her for that.
