D: Oh hey y/n!

He opened the door and moved to the side so that I can get in.

Y/n: Hi Dan, I'm so so so so sorry for being this late I just took one of those naps that last, like, 6 hours and I woke up like few minutes ago and I instantly came here.

He chuckled and hugged me for few seconds.

D: It's alright, no worries.

We sat on a couch and he offered me some cookies but I rejected his offer.

D: Did Shawn let you come?

He asked followed by a laughter.

Y/n: Shut up, I didn't ask him whether I could come or not h-

D: He likes you.

Y/n: No. He's just excessively overprotective.

D: I think he likes you. He definitely doesn't see you as a friend.

Y/n: Today I wanted to go to his room to let him know where I'm gonna be in the afternoon and I heard him fighting with someone so I eavesdropped and turns out he was fighting with Anastasia, his girlfriend you know and moreover he's going to Vancouver for a week if everything goes well. If he liked me, he wouldn't take things so far with Ana.

D: It would be too obvious that he had found someone else if he just told her over the phone that it's alright if they break up.

Y/n: Good point.

D: To be honest, he seems to really love Anastasia based on what he was telling but he seems to like you as well so I don't know.

Y/n: I don't care anymore. I used to have a crush on him but not anymore... I think. Everything I've done with 2 boys was just so that I can forget him and it kind of worked.

D: You're such a pretty girl, you should have so many guys running behind you and stuff.

Y/n: I don't believe that I'm that pretty but thanks. I just, don't have many friends so I don't go out at all and I think it's hard to find someone but I don't care. I'm not desperate to be in a relationship. Plus, this period I don't wanna do anything with anyone. I've done a lot of bullshit since a last year.

D: It makes sense.

Y/n: What about you?

D: I've had a couple of relationships but I'm currently single.

Y/n: I see.

D: Taylor forgot his phone here so I suppose he should come over too. Except if he's still dealing with his hangover.

Y/n: I bet he's asleep and he'll come when he realizes that his phone is missing.

D: Bet!

D: Shawn's birthday is next week as well.

Y/N: I know. I want to make a surprise party thingy for him but I want it to be really special that can be equivalent to what he did for me.

D: Hmm. I was thinking we could go to Canada's Wonderland 'cause Shawn likes amusement parks regardless the fact that he shits his pants every time.

I laughed.

Y/n: I know right? But we went there on my birthday so it wouldn't be prototype.

D: We could have a pool party at my house!

Y/n: That's great! I mean, if there's no problem with that then why not?

D: I'm the one who recommended it so there's no problem .

I smiled and then we heard the doorbell.

D: That must be Taylor!

He stood up from the couch and went to open the door.

Indeed, it was Taylor!

T: Hello there!

D: Hey Tay, you good?

T: Yea Im- Oh hey y/n! Did I come at the wrong time and interrupted you from something?

D: No no, we were just talking about Shawn's birthday.

At this point, Taylor came in and sat beside me.

T: Oh yeah, right. When is it anyway?

Y/n: August 8th.

T: Right, right.

He rested his arm around my shoulders.

D: I was sitting there.

T: Exactly! You were!

We all laughed and Dan tried desperately to fit in the couch and achieved to cram his ass in the little space next to me.

Y/n: Very comfy.

D: Taylor is to blame.

T: You were the one who crammed his ass.

We laughed again and then we went back to the topic.

T: So, what's the plan about August 8th?

D: Pool party. Here.

T: Tch. That's pretty dull. We've had many pull party's here with Shawn already.

We all remained silent and got lost in our thoughts.

Y/n: Why don't y'all come over our house?

We looked at each other.

Y/n: I'll be spending my day with Shawn as always and then you'll come suddenly. Afterwards we could have a water balloon fight and later we can have a barbeque or whatever.

T: Sounds pretty dope to me.

D: I know right?

Y/n: Great! Then that settles it.

Time passed and it was genuinely so fun.

We played board games, we drank a bit and chilled.

It was too late already.

I guess they ain't wrong when they say that you don't realize that time flies when having fun.

Y/n: I guess, I should get going.

T: Stay overnight! There's no way in hell I would go back home now.

D: For real, you can stay. There are beds and... you know that there's no problem at all.

Y/n: I don't know.

D: Wait! Didn't you say that Shawn went to Vancouver today?

Y/n: Yeah, so what?

D: So what? I'm not gonna leave you alone. Whether you want it or not you're staying here tonight.

Y/n: Thank you. You sure?

D: Don't even mention it. I'm more than just glad to have you here tonight. And no, I'm not gonna rape you or something. Neither me nor Tay.

T: Yo dude, talk about yourself.

D: Shut the fuck up!

We all laughed and after a while we all went to sleep.

It was such a fun night...
