SHAWN'S POV:

4 days had passed. 

Things between me and Anastasia seemed perfect.

It reminded me the first year of our relationship.

Everything was harmonious and gratifying.

I cherished every moment with her. I cherished her.

Waking up next to her had been the best thing that could happen to me. It wasn't happenning very often but every time it did, I fell more and more in love with her.

It was not all about sex as it is for other couples.

I don't think we were one of those cliché couples either.

We were like best friends but our feelings weren't just friendly; we had passion and erotic love for each other.

She was the best thing that could happen to me. You think, I would exaggerate if I said that she was a miracle. She was like a gift from God - if this pure and powerful existence really exists.

The past 4 days I felt like I was in my highschool days.

We went to amusement parks, went to the beach at night and drank, we made prank calls, we played pillow fight and as I mentioned before everything seemed and felt perfect, for me.

A: Aye, Shawn! Aren't you gonna wake up?

S: Are you in a hurry baby? 

A: I made scrambled eggs and it would be a pity if they got cold.

S: I'm coming then but please come here for a sec.

She came close and I grabbed her hand and pulled her towards me making her fall on the bed.

A: Shawn!

I pecked her lips and let her go.

S: I love you!

She didn't say it back at that moment and I thought she just didn't hear me.

We ate our breakfast in silence. 

It was unusual of her to remain so silent.

S: Are you okay babe?

A: For how long are you gonna stay?

She was dead searious and I felt like she wanted me to leave.

S: Do you want me to leave? I was intending to stay until my birthday.

A: Oh ok.

I started getting furious. What's with that attitude?

S: Why are you being so damn cold today?

I said as I raised my voice a bit.

A: You got a notification last night and your phone was next to me at that moment and as the screen lit up I noticed that it was from y/n. I think she's the girl I met at that party...

S: That's right.

A: ... I didn't mention it yesterday but it really bothered me when she asked you when were you coming back.

S: We just haven't hang out in a long time and she wants to hang out.

A: Today I checked to see your reply. 

S: WHY DID YOU GET MY PHONE?

A: SHUT UP SHAWN! WHY DOES SHE WANT YOU TO COME OVER HER HOUSE?

Oh. Shit.

S: We would occasionally throw parties at each other's house, it's no big deal babe.

A: Look Shawn. It's not like I'm jealous, I just... made a decision and wanna make sure that you weren't cheating on me. And Just to know it's not easy for me either.

S: What decision?

A: I decided that it would be better if we broke up.

I froze.

The past few days had been great and gave me hope and motivation to improve our relationship and she literally burst my bubble.

S: Oh really? Why was I here for 4 days then? Did all the things that happen meant nothing to you?

A: Shawn, I explained you when you first came here the reasons. I gave it more thought and I came to the conclusion that it-

S: Alright quit that gibberish! I'm going to pack my stuff and leave. I already regret those 4 days here. Waste of time!

A: Shawn!

She grabbed my arm and i yanked her away.

A: Shawn please don't be mad at me, the past few days made me realise how precious and amazing person you are and.. and you deserve someone to whom you can show it every day. I'm holding you back from doing all these things. It's not easy for me either.

Tears welled up and she tried to hug me.

I was mad.
And when i say mad i mean MAD.

I pushed her away from me and without saying a single word i went to pack my stuff.

When I came back she was sitting on the couch; starring into space.

S: I'm leaving.

A: Can we stay friends?

S: I don't know. For the time being, i don't wanna see you or talk to you ever again.

A: Shawn please!

S: Farewell!

She didn't resist.

She didn't say goodbye.

She didn't plead or anything like that.

She just watched me leaving as she let some sobs escape from her mouth.

I'd never seen her like that before.

I felt my heart breaking.

Was I the reason behind her situation?

I tried to brush these thoughts away and headed to the airport.
