What on earth were you thinking,
When you tried to take your life,
You hurt a lot of people,
That decision was like a knife,
But no that didn't stop you,
From trying to go away,
You really don't quite realize the price we'd have to pay,
No, I may not know,
Not like the others do,
But you hurt a lot of people that I care about too,
If you read this,
Which you won't,
But maybe you just might,
Perhaps I'll give a signal,
Maybe even shed some light,
On the fact that you are lonely,
But never just alone,
For people you don't realize,
Have also tried to go,
Now I'm just going to guess,
By the way people have acted through out this,
That you never said what you were dealing with,
Even though it was never a myth,
That others, people who you are close to,
Had tried to leave you too,
You hurt a lot of people,
On that Thursday night,
And no it's not because you tried to leave,
No, you hurt a lot of people because you were too afraid to fight.
