I leave the room quickly, and find Elena already waiting. She is admiring her perfect pink nails.
She looks up when I walk out.
"Well?" She asks.
"What?" I reply confused.
She rolls her eyes dramatically.
"What are you Training for?"
"Oh. Talent. You?" I say.
"Obviously a Looks. Makeup, nails, clothing. It's my dream. And guess who I'm training with?"
She pauses.
"Angel Michelson."
"I'm training with just Robin Ness." I say nonchalantly.
"Just Robin Ness?! THE super famous Talent? Boy, you are lucky." She exclaims leaping from the wall.
I am just about to say something back when Francine comes out of the room.
"Hey, what are you guys training for?" She asks.
"Talent."
"Looks."
We say at the same time.
"Oh." She says disappointed." I'm Smarts."
I figured that, she always has a book in her head, no wait her head in a book. Really either way is true, she always remembers a story as if she read it yesterday, but at lunch everyday at school she reads.
The Mayor suddenly reappears.
"Now that, that is over with. We will show you to your rooms so you can get a good night sleep for the Announcement tomorrow. Tomorrow we will tell the town what you will be Training for, and what with who! Off you go!"
And with that we go, following the Mayor."
