The next morning I find Rosa, in my room digging through my dresser.
The nights events come flying back, and I am filled with dread.
How am I gonna decide?
Rosa sets out a plain t shirt, and tight black leggings, then walks out without comment.
Perfect. I know just what I'm going to do today to start my decision.
I get dressed quickly, pull my hair into a loose low pony and head down stairs to find Robin Ness.
After about 5 inquiries I ind her in an empty room.
When I walk in, I find her glossy brown hair facing me.
I don't try to scare her, but when I tap her on the shoulder it ends up scaring her.
She jumps, but then turns around and looks at me.
" Oh! hey, you must be Madylyn Branche?" She says.
I nod, not sure of what else to do.
"Ok, cool. So do you go by Madylyn, or....?" She trails off.
"I prefer Mady." I say simply, still in shock at meeting her.
"Ok, got it. Mady,Mady,Mady." She says, as she jumps up on the table nearby.
We both stare at each other during the awkward silence that follows.
I clear my throat, and say, " So um, I was wondering if you could help me."
"Ok. What do u need help with? Training, places to go, or anything like that?" She says.
I blush, "Uh, no. I am Undecided, and I need help deciding."
She looks at me for a second, but then narrows her eyes.
"Undecided, huh?" I nod, " of course I can help you!!!" Robin says.
"Um, Ms. Ness? I was wondering if I could ask you about the two Talents....?" I tentatively blurt.
"First off, call me Robin, second, I would be willing to do that. Except not at this very minute. Uh, I gotta run so do you wanna meet tonight at 8:30 in the meeting room 6?" Robin says hurriedly while collecting her stuff, and throwing it in her bag.
I just nod, numb with disappointment.
"Ok! great, see you later Madylyn." She calls and shuts the door behind her.
"It's Mady."
