That night there was a meeting for all the Training Specials.

So Elena, Francine, and I, stayed behind after the Picking Ceremony and met in the Hall of the Town Hall.

I was twiddling my thumbs waiting for the Mayor to come in.

"Welcome." The Mayor says surprising all of us.

"Tonight is a special night for you. Tonight you were picked to be Trained Specials. And tonight, you will pick what you will be trained for. Smarts. Talent. Or Looks. You will each take a test, and fill out what your interests are. You have no time limit, and no same answers. You will each take it in a different room, with a supervisor. You are to fill it out, as quick as possible but as well as taking your time to make sure you get your point across. Understood?" The Mayor asks.

We all nod quickly, and taking that, she gestures for us to follow us.

First, Francine is dropped off in a brightly lit room with a soft looking lady supervisor.

Then, Elena who has her nose in the air as she walks in.

And lastly me. The mayor smiles at me and swiftly walks away leaving me with a tough looking man as my supervisor.

"Come on in." He says gruffly.

I step into the room, filled with many tables but only one occupied with a single computer.

" Ok." He says reading off a piece of paper." Your name is Madylyn, and you Madylyn are the tester I am supervising. You are bit allowed to ask any questions during the test, leave the room, or get up during the test. So please go to the bathroom now if you have to."

He looks at me expectedly and even though I really have to go, I shake my head.

"Very well. Water is provided and you may start."

"Uh, how long do you think it will take?" I ask timidly, acknowledging that the time is already 9:45.

"Depends on your answers, Miss."

I turn back to my computer.

The first thing I see is it asking what my name is.

I type Madylyn Branche.

It changes to another page. How old are you?

A whole other list of things come up, about makeup.

It clicks: the first was about Talent, now about looks.

I quickly scan through this list only selecting mascara, blush, lipstick and eyeshadow.

The third list is about Smarts, what I like to read.

I only select fiction books and fantasy books.

A screen comes up describing my desicions about each category.

By far, Talents wins so we go on with that topic.

It asks, why I like things, how long I've been doing these activities,( if I have), and lots more.

It finally asks me to rank my top three things:

1) Field Hockey

2) Lacrosse

3) Dance

Then a question about how hard I work and for how long at a time.

I answer: very hard, and up to 1 hour.

The final answer comes up asking why I like these activities as my top 3.

I answer briefly but in detail.

My results come up and I take a deep breath and close my eyes before revealing it to myself.

It list my activity and trainer.

Well, activities and trainer.

Turns out field hockey and lacrosse come out even.

Both to train with Robin Ness.

My idol.
