Chapter 11

By the time I finally make it to Meeting Room 6, I am 15 minutes late.

Nice Job, Mady. 15 Minutes late on your first meeting. I scold my self.

But then I remember how I am new to the building and just got a little lost, which makes me feel better.

I catch my breath before entering the room, fix my hair, smooth my shirt down and push open the door.

Surprisingly, Robin is not there. I make sure of this by looking around the entire room, backstage behind the tall maroon curtains, around the corner and other dusty places.

But still no Robin.

"Robin? Its me, Mady? Hello?" I yell, but my voice is the only thing that bounces back at me.

I decide to sit down and wait for a little bit to give her some time, I mean she is a celebrity and all that. Maybe she got caught with fans or something.

Even after 5 minutes of waiting she doesn't show. 

I head out, to the front help desk and ask where she is.

"Oooh. I think she mightve twisted her ankle today at practice. Are you Mady?" the lady asks.

"Yes. We were supposed to-" I start explaining.

" I heard you had a meeting and was told to tell you that she will make it up to you tomorrow same time same place." Quickly she turns back to her computer, and I get the notion we are done.

I sigh, and trudge back to my room.
