Part 3: Our Road To Forever

PROLOGUE:

I'm laughing.

Masaya akong nakikipag-kwentuhan sa buong pamilya ko. Si Mama, si Papa, ang mga kapatid kong si Anne at si Gabrielle.

I looked around and there's also Bernice, Faye and Claire.

We are all laughing happily and I'm feeling very light.

Then, all of a sudden, everything turned black.

Biglang tumanda si Mama at si Papa. I tried reaching them but failed. Then, they disappeared to nowhere.

Dumating ang asawa ni Gabrielle, he took her hand. Sumama siya dito ng hindi man lang ako tinitingnan.

Another guy came, I don't know him. But he did the same to Anne and they both disappeared as well.

Sumunod na dumating si Jason na may dalang dalawang bata. Claire looked at me but turned her back to be with Jason and the kids. They too, suddenly disappeared.

Dumating din si Jeremy. I looked at Bernice with a pleading look on my face. She shook her head and disappeared with her boyfriend.

This time, I clutched Faye's hands. She is my best and closest friend of all my friends. My eyes are clouding, I want to speak but I have no voice.

Dumating si Daryll. He happily looked at Faye without regarding that I'm also there.

He held his hands on Faye. I gripped her arms tightly.

"No, Ellie. I love him" she removed my hands on her gently. She too, disappeared with Daryll,  like everyone.

Everything just got blacker. Hindi ko na napigilan pang umiyak.

Iniwan nila akong lahat.

Lahat sila na importante sa buhay ko.

And now I am alone..

Crying miserably with no one by my side..

This is my biggest and worst fear.

Ang mag-isa.

Nangyari na ang pinaka-kinatatakutan kong mangyari.

I felt my body shaking.

Seconds past before I realized that I was shaking on purpose.

Someone is shaking me.

"Ellie, Ellie! Ellie, wake up!"

I woke up with a start.
