Carson looked at Essence pale body, before putting his head into his hands and letting the tears fall from his eyes.
He was hurting badly, he haven't ate or showered due to the fact that he hadn't left the hospital since Essence got there.
He needed her, she didn't know she was the only person he had. She was the only person to make him happy.
He saw Essence happy side before and he loved it, the way her eyes lit up and how her smile reached her ears.
And Carson couldn't help but to think did I not make her happy? I did my best.
He cried and cried. After a lot of thinking he couldn't be mad at Essence no more. She was going through it and she couldn't handle it.
It killed him though, he looked up to Essence for being able to smile during what she was going through. He thought she was strong.
The opening of the door caused him to look up. In walked in Keith and Seandrea.
"Anything?" Keith asked lowly. He didn't even bother trying to hide the fact he was hurting or the bangs that was under his eyes due to lack of sleep.
Carson shook his head and wiped his tears. Keith walked over to him, placed a hand on his shoulder , his eyes filled with hurt and sympathy.
"Go home Carson"
Carson quickly shook his head and looked up at him. "No I want to stay here with Essence. She's gonna wake up"
" I know but when she do you think she's gonna like it that you've been here and hadn't ate or Showered?"
Carson shook his head.
"She wouldn't want to smell that either" Keith says getting rid of the tension. Carson chuckled and nodded.
"Yea yea you right, ight man"
After he left Keith and Seandrea stood over Essence staring at her.
"I'm sorry Essence, god I'm so sorry, I'm so stupid and selfish, I never once thought about how you felt" Seandrea cried.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean those words Essence , we didn't mean them, you do make us happy, don't give up please Essence come back"
Keith shot his head up at Seandrea and furrowed his eyebrows.
"What? What words? What y'all sorry for?"
"I'd rather not talk about it"
Keith opened his mouth to say something but closed it. He wasn't about to argue while his sister wasn't do well.
Keith stared at her and let the tears escape. He didn't have a clue what was going on in his own sister's life.
Essence only let Keith and August see the "happy" side of her. But it was crazy he didn't know something was wrong.
The random mood swings, when her eyes watered when they were having fun, when she cried hardly when ever they watched a happy movie.
He thought it was just what females do, but it was clearly something else.
All Keith could think of was her dad and they mom. Was they the reason Essence felt the need to kill herself? Naa , it got to be some else.
Seandrea pulled Keith in a tight hug. She pecked his shoulders.
"It's gonna be okay"
"Was there something else? Any weird signs from her? Like any thing that could be a reason as to why she'd do this?"
"she had nightmares, she'd scream in her sleep , and you know Essence is Hypnophobic , she cant sleep unless there's someone next to her, they'd torture eat her alive she didn't have someone next to her"
"Fuck, okay you know what's they about?"
"No she never told us, I wish she did"
"I have a clue what it could be about" Keith says before storming out of the door.

Keith took a deep breath before knocking on the door. When he knocked the door opened, so he walked in.
Being in this house brought back unwanted memories for Keith and he it made him angry all over again.
He looked on the couch and there sat the woman Keith despised so much. She sat there smiling looking at the tv.
Smiling like her daughter wasn't in a coma. As if her daughter didn't just try to kill herself possibly because of her.
Keith stood in front of the tv and growled. Once she saw Keith she stood up with a wide smile on her face.
"Hey Baby , I miss y-"
"Cut the bullshit where that nigga at Karmen"
"W-what nigga?"
"You know which one, the one you was crazy about"
"Why?"
"Just fuckin tell me and don't tell me you don't know because I know you do"
"I don't know Keith"
"Don't make me ask again" He says with gritted teeth. Karmen looked at Keith's balled up fist and stepped back.
"890 Forest lawn drive"
Keith turned to leave but stopped and went into thought about something. He smiled and in one swift movement he slapped Karmen with all his might causing her to fall to the ground.
"Know how long I been wanting to do that" Keith says smiling before walking out the door.

Keith pulled up at the address and he instantly got angry. He living like this while his daughter was suffering? Keith wasted no time getting out the car and rushing towards the house.
He roughly knocked on the door. When the door flew open revealing a man Keith hated more than he hated his mother.
Keith pushed him inside the house and slammed the door.
"I want my one" Keith says throwing a punch at his face. The punch made him stumble back and hold his face.
"Keith what are you doing here?"
"Oh you'd know if you was in yo daughters damn life , SHE CUT HER SELF! SHE TRIED TO KILLE HER SELF BECAUSE OF YOU, YOU PUNK ASS BITCH , I swear to god if my sister don't make it I'm coming for you and Karmen head" He says. He punched him once more before leaving out the door.
