Chapter 23.

I look out the window at the city flying past me, a genuine smile on my face time in a long time. I don't remember ever being this happy before in my life. My hand moves it's way over to Jack's leg as he drives and I place it on his upper thigh. He turns to me with a smile,

"you look happy, doll."He grins,

"I am. I really really am."I say, a gentle smile settling on my face,

"I'm glad.."He smiles,

"I love you Jack"I sigh happily,

"I love you too, darling"

I stepped out of the car and looked at the warehouse, where Jack lives and suddenly all the emotions hit me at once; I can't control it, I burst into tears. As I covered my face Jack rushes round and takes my hands away and cups my face,

"Ryder? are you okay? whats wrong?"

I don't think, I just say what feels right; I go with my gut.

"I'm home.."I smile, tears streaking my make up,

Jack sighs in relief and nods, "yes.. yes you're home.."

Falling into his chest, he wraps his arms around my small frame and holds tight.

"you're home now and safe...with me"

Lifting my head up I press a passionate kiss to his chapped lips.

"let's go inside doll"

Later on, me and him were curled up in the bed, watching a film on a battered, old laptop. I turn to him and pout,

"what?"Jack chuckles,

I point to my lips, he chuckles again but kisses me anyway. I lace my fingers in his hair and kiss him harder. Soon the kiss turns more desperate and rough. I flick myself over and straddle Jack; using my hands to steady myself on the headboard.

"This is new"Jack gasps,

I pull away and sit back on my heels, hiding my face from him, "s-sorry"

Jack cups my neck gently, "no, it's okay doll, if you want this.. its fine.. you can have whatever you want.."

"are you sure..?"I hesitate,

"yes.. anything"

I lean forward and he leans backwards, "be confident.." he whispers,

I stop inches from his lips, "I want you, Jack.."

I see him bite his lip and groan. "I want you to touch me.."I say, taking his hands and place them on my chest, "I want to do everything with you.."

"then that's what we'll do" he smiles and closes the gap between our lips...

I wake up the next morning a little sore but content. Looking over I see Jack asleep and drooling on his pillow. I stifle a chuckle and get out of bed. Once out I change into clothes I can wear out of the bedroom and walk out to the kitchen. All of the thugs were passed out on the sofa's and floor in the living room, drugs and alcohol everywhere.

Once in the kitchen, I start to make eggs and bacon. The smell obviously reaches Jack as soon enough I feel his arms around me and gentle kisses on my neck.

"morning handsome"

"Hey gorgeous, how you feeling?"

"a little achy but good"I laugh,

he laughs too, soon enough the food was cooked and we ate happily,

"you need to cook more often"Jack groans,

"I'm glad you enjoy it"I chuckle,

I flick the small TV on and the news comes on, the first thing I see is that Bruce and Ash are now dating. I squeeze my glass so hard that it smashes to pieces, slicing my fingers,

"ah!"I jump back and Jack rushes and grabs a towel to cover my hands,

"careful doll.."

"sorry... I just can't believe what Ash has turned into"

he nods and starts cleaning my hands and one thick gash along my palm,

"ah!! ouch!"I hiss,

"Sorry, darling.."

Finally, I was bandaged up and Jack kissed each one, causing me to blush hard.

"I need to go wake the lazy bastards in the living room up and go out on a run, are you going to be okay here alone..?"

"of course I will"I smile,

"Okay, I'll be back in a bit baby" He smiles, kissing my lips,

He walks off and I hear him shout to the thugs: "Oi! lazy fucktards wake up!!"

then a load of groans and grunts and shuffling. I laugh and walk to the bedroom.

Once the warehouse was empty I decided to do a cleanup. I cleaned and tidied the living room, kitchen, bedroom and interrogation room. The rubbish was dumped around the back and now I was done I decided to go and have a shower, then go into town.

I rummaged through the numerous set of keys in the garage and settled on a small Toyota. I locked up the warehouse and left a note on the counter to Jack about where I am and then set off into town. In town, I decided I would give Jack a nice surprise, so I wandered into Ann Summers.

I looked around at all the gorgeous lingerie and I got a tingly feeling and immediately spotted what I wanted. Grinning to myself I grab my size and walk to the till. I could not wait to get home.
