Bettys POV:
One of Cheryl's friends had just pulled her off to the side and I found myself staring a some kid with a beanie.
He was hot!
In the middle of me staring like an idiot I heard Cheryl yelling. By the time I looked up she was flipping this girl off. When she sat back down I looked at her and smiled. "Okay." She laughed and I accidentally started staring again. "Betty, who are you looking at?" I snapped out of it. "Huh, oh I'm not sure, he's the one in the crown beanie around Archie and that girl, who is he?" She straightened up looking for them but then her eyebrows furrowed together. "Jughead...that hobo?"
Jughead? What type of name is jughead?
"I don't know, he seems cute." She bit her lip, probably to keep from laughing.
"Okay anyways, what can we do to make your room...yours?" She asked. I had moved in with Cheryl, her dad and her brother Jason after I got expelled from southside high for breaking the principals daughters nose and my mom can't exactly come back to the Northside because she is the serpent leader. But now we are decorating my room that I'm going to live in for two years. "It can't be anything pink or light colored." I insisted. "I know I'm not supposed to ask why you hate all light colors, but why?" I hated answering this question because it brought up everything that happened between me and my parents and even Cheryl's parents, but I knew that Cheryl had been through the same thing, we both lost everything while the people who broke up our family got everything. "I was the perfect girl, pink walls, pink clothes, I never did anything bad, I was expected to be perfect while my dad went around cheating on my mom and I just don't want anything to do with who I was." You could see the tears building up in Cheryl's eyes and that caused the tears in my eyes to build up too. "So like jungle green or?" I laughed a little. "Yeah jungle green is fine." The bell rang and I was going to Literature. "Cheryl wait up!" I said reaching our for her arm. "Where do I go?" She looked at my schedule. "I'm pretty sure Jughead has this class, he can help you." She said winking before dismissing herself. There was no way I was going to ask him where it was, I didn't want to be the v little girl so I got on my phone and looked for it there. Room 212. I walked into the classroom and went up the front, like I did in every class looking for a seat. The teacher walked in and looked me up and down with judging eyes. "Sit right there next to Jughead." She said pointing to him. I immediately got nervous, this was something I rarely ever felt. My hands were clammy and I had butterflies in my stomach.
Why was I feeling like this, we have said two sentences to each other. Somehow it was like I had known him my whole life. I sat down on the stool and noticed the looks that I was getting from the girl who was friends with Archie and Jughead. I was getting tired of her having a disgusted look on her face so I turned around and said. "What's your name?" A moment of fear flashed in her eyes. "Veronica lodge, w-why?" I smiled and replied. "For my hit list." She was taken aback and her mouth was hanging wide open. I lifted my eyes up from the book to look at Veronica. "Chill, can't you take a joke?" She turned slightly red. "Well excuse me if I'm afraid of the daughter of the damn serpent queen who kills people for fun." I raised my eyebrow and she immediately knew she had crossed a line. I got out of my seat and walked over to her and Archie's table. "Veronica sweetie, the serpents don't kill unless we have a reason." I grabbed her wrist and squeezed it, increasing my grip every second. She went from a wince to twisting her arm to try and get out of my grip. "Don't give me a reason." I released her hand and she immediately pulled back. I sat back down and jughead looked at me smiling and shaking his head. This made me blush. "What?" He shook his head again before replying. "Nothing, it's just your cute when you get pissed." My heart started racing and I could feel the heat in my face, I was probably a tomato. I tried to distract myself from him by looking up at the teacher who was talking about to kill a mockingbird. Halfway through class I look back at jughead who is knocked out. He has his head facing me, a piece of curly black hair falling in his face and his beanie was beginning to slide off of his head.
I might as well had been drooling because I was staring at him like an idiot. When I caught myself I kept trying to tell myself things like I can't like him or he's a Noethsider and I'm a Southsider. But was I? I was technically living with Cheryl on the Northside. Here I was trying to make excuses to myself on why I Gould be able to like him. The bell rang and I had to go to French. "Jug, Jug wake up!" I said nudging him. "Oh crap, did I miss anything?" I smiled. "No but what are your next two classes?" I took out my schedule I had French then Journalism. The classes he said next made me radiant. "I think French them I've got Journalism." I showed him my paper. "Me too." So far Jughead and Cheryl were the only two people who I had an interest in talking to at Riverdale high.

It was the end of the day and right before 8th period Cheryl pulled me aside. "So Betty, do you mind if I throw a party tomorrow night?" I raised my eyebrow. Is she really going to throw a party the day after I unpack? I thought. "Well I guess if." Cheryl cut me off. "Okay thanks Betts!" She skipped off to her locker. In Journalism they did things a little different than any other class, there were no desks, just seats but nobody was sitting in the seats, I was beyond confused. I walk up to the teacher and ask. "Where do I sit?" She looked up at me with pressed lips. "Oh you sit where you want in my class!" Her voice was very high and loud, almost how you would expect an opera singers voice to be like. I was about to take a seat on the far left when I was approached by a boy. He had dark hair and was pretty hot, the most noticeable thing about him was that he had an extremely sharp Jawline. "What do you want?" I said rolling my eyes. He walked closer and closer to me. Making me back up. I was suddenly backed up against the wall and he put his arm up next to my face. "You know you look really hot in these shorts but I think I'd rather see them off." He pushed his other hand around my thigh for a second. I was boiling with anger, I first got close to him but then I jolted my knee up to hit him where it hurt, I then proceeded to punch him in the face, making him fall all the way down. "You hit on me again I'll break you!" I stormed off as the teacher went to assist him. Cheryl walked up to me and turned me around. "What the hell was that?" I threw my hands up before replying. "He hit on me!" She put her palm to her face. "Reggie hits on everyone, clearly we need to stay up all night going through peoples instagrams telling you who they are so you can expect this and not beat them to a pulp." I sighed and walked back to class. The teacher was waiting on me at the door. "Mrs cooper have you heard of a place called southside high?" I furrowed my eyebrows together. "Yeah, I got kicked out." Her eyes widened and under her breath she whispered. "Damn it." She then took a deep breath. "Take a seat mrs Cooper." I did as told but this time I took a seat in the back. Jughead was in my view and occasionally I would glance at him, he was sitting with Archie and Veronica but at the same time he wasn't, one of them would speak and all he would do is just look at them, it was as if he was just watching a movie.

A/N so I just realized this has like two paragraphs, I never separated them during this because I sometimes get caught up in the writing oops.
