Jugheads POV:
It had been a week since Betty, Chloe and Jackson were discharged and we were dead tired, we have had no sleep for a week and we love them with all of our heart but we've gotten to the point where we are going to ask for more help. Cheryl and Jason tried their hardest to help but even they were getting more tired my the minute. Both me and Betty were in bed for only an hour until we heard that noise that we wished would stay quiet for at least 5 more minuets. "Uhggg it's your turn." I say hitting Betty with a pillow. "No, remember I got up and changed Jackson's diaper." She said half asleep. "Shut that crying child up!" Cheryl shouts. I reluctantly get up and walk into the twins bedroom. "Hey Chloe, hey Jackson can you please shut up for daddy? Please." I say annunciating the word please. I can't get them to stop crying and soon after Betty comes into the room rubbing her eyes. "Oh come on babies, you gotta be quiet." Betty says grabbing Chloe and rocking her. "Jesus Chloe what do you want, you aren't taking milk, you don't need a diaper change and rocking you is getting nowhere!" Betty was obviously getting frustrated and I could tell she needed sleep. "Betty, put Chloe in her crib for a minute, Jackson's quiet now." As soon as she does so she becomes quiet. "Thank god." Betty whispered And stumbles off to bed. Surprisingly both of them were quiet for the rest of the night and we got around 5 hours of sleep, the most we had gotten since they were born. I wake up with my arms wrapped around Bettys, her hair in her face and her mascara running, causing her to look like a raccoon. Her eyes slowly flutter open and even in a stare like this she is still breathtaking. "Hey mama." She widely smiles. "Hi daddy." We were still getting used to the idea of us being parents, it's crazy how you can be so prepared before they're born but as soon as they are you go crazy. We had Veronica and Archie coming over today to see them for the first time since they were born. As I was rolling around in bed Heather comes into our room. "Hey, umm Cheryl's our and you have visitors." She says quietly. "Oh, okay thanks." Betty says as she rolls, literally rolls out of bed. I got up and followed Betty to the door where Archie and Veronica stood. "Hey! Where are the little babies?" Veronica says hugging Betty. "They're asleep right now but I can go get them if you want."
"That'd be great." Veronica clasps her hands together and sits down on the couch. Betty comes into the room with both babies not making a sound. She placed Chloe in Veronica's hands and Jackson in Archie's. Veronica was immediately swooning. "Oh my dear god, they're perfect." While Archie isn't sure what to do. "H-How do I hold him correctly?" Everyone in the room laughs. "Your doing it fine." I replied. Veronica has a huge smirk on her face. "So when are you two getting married?" She asks stretching out the so. Me and Betty look at each other and I grab her hand pulling her into my lap. "Probably when Jackson and Chloe are around 6 months, you know when we're semi used to being parents." I kiss Betty on the lips and I can feel her mouth forming a smile, we both almost forgot that we had people around us until Veronica interrupted us. "Earth to bughead, you have people around." Both of them stayed for several hours until they started crying and they got stressed out so they left. I turn around to see Betty starting at me with heart eyes. "What?" I chuckle. "Your just...everything I could ask for, you are an amazing father and you never made the stupid mistake of joining the serpents." I sighed and sat down next to her. "Betty, you were hurt and who says you have to become serpent queen?" She let out a loud gasp of air. "Everyone! I just don't want to bring our children into this life, not yet anyways, they don't deserve to be brought up into this at such a young age. Jesus I wish we could just run away, away from Riverdale, away from the Serpents away from everyone."
"Why don't we." I know it's a crazy idea but it's true, we could run away as a family and start a new life. "What?!? How-how would we even pull that off." I started to get exited thinking about how we could do it. "The wedding! We could get mart here and buy a beach house or something? I'm sure with both of our money combined we could find something." Her face read of fear, excitement and shock. "That's crazy, do you want to?"
I let out a breathy yes.
"Okay then, six months from now when we get married we will go on our honeymoon and never come back...god we're insane." Indeed we are.A/N here's the part where I'm setting it up for the sequel!!!
