Jugheads POV:
I was happy for Betty, she really needed a break from Riverdale, especially after the Southside and Northside schools merged.

Betty was going with me to pops to talk and tell me about the plans, I was already there, and I looked up to see the blonde goddess that I loved with all of my heart. "Hey Betty!" She smiled and sat in front of me, wrapping her fingers around mine. "Hey juggie."
"So what are the plans?"
"I don't know all of them, all I know is we're going to Florida for two weeks and we're leaving tomorrow." Two weeks without The love of my life. "Tomorrow, didn't Cheryl just start planning this." Bettys eyes got jokingly wide. "No, she's been planning it for four years, wish me luck." I laughed, that seems just like Cheryl. I knew what I wanted to do, I was going to send her away for two weeks so that I could mentally prepare to propose to her. I had no idea when I was going to do it, I was going to ask Cheryl when he and how I should do it but now I was worrying if I could get her in time to talk about it.
~at Cheryl's
Betty was away for the rest of the day to say her goodbyes to Veronica and Archie so I figured this would be the perfect time to ask Cheryl. She opened the door quickly. "Jughead! What are you doing here?" I walked through the door without asking. "Bettys not home right?" She shook her head. "No but if you hurt her I will beat you to nothing." I laughed a little because it was exactly the opposite of why I was here. "No, I need your help...on how to propose." Her face was wiped with shock. "Oh, okay, what do you need help on?" I opened my mouth but nothing came out. "I'll take that as everything! Here's what I say you should do, wait until we come back, she'll be stress free, slightly sad that we're gone but still be happy to see you, wait until she's turned around and pop the question." That was actually a good idea. "Oh but I have to be there to see it." She added. "Thanks, and what ring would she like?"
"Simple but not too simple, it should be elegant." I knew that we were just 18 and seniors in high school but I knew that I wanted to be with her for the rest of my life. I was going to marry Betty Cooper.
