Bettys POV:
"Betty cooper, your the love of my life and I never thought we would make it this far but we did, we beat the odds.Your the first thing I think about when I wake up and the last thing I think about at night. Your carrying my children and I can't wait to build a life with you and with that...will you marry me? Marry me Betty cooper." I was frozen still, this was the last thing I was expecting today but it was definitely one of the best unexpected things I could ask for. My hands were over my face and I was crying tears of joy. I couldn't say anything because I didn't think I could get it out so instead I just rapidly nodded my head. I took a deep breath and finally replied. "Yes! Oh my god yes." I say as I hug Jughead, my fiancé. He placed the ring on my finger and he grabbed me by the waist, spun me around and kissed me. When he let me down I heard the noises I had accidentally blocked out. Cheryl and Veronica had their arms wrapped around each other and they were softly crying. Archie gave Jughead a Bro' Hug while the Cher And Veronica came to me in a huddle. When they let go Veronica and Cheryl immediately started telling me their plans for the wedding.
"I have so many questions about what you guys want, how I can help and-"
I cut Cheryl off. "Woah Cher, I just got engaged like two seconds ago." I let out an awkward chuckle. "We have to talk about everything eventually, maybe a girls sleepover on Saturday?" I couldn't ask for better friends, they were willing to do anything for me and I love that. "Sure thing but tonight I think I'll spend the night with juggie." I say briefly turning to see Jughead. When I turn back around I see Cheryl who looks disappointed. She's clearly trying to make it not obvious, I could tell because that's the same look I made everyday for a year after my father left my family for Cheryl's mom. It was all in the eyes, they were sad and franticly trying to be brought up by a smile. "I'll see you tomorrow Cher?" She still had the forced smile plastered on her face but I chose to ignore it because I was supposed to remember this day as one of the best days of my life.

A/N They're engaged!!! The next few chapters will be focusing on the whole Cheryl/ Heather/Toni situation because again...I'm trying to stretch out Bettys pregnancy as long as I can before a time skip.
