Jugheads POV:
I was walking home from Bettys and my mind was scrambled. Did I really just sleep with Betty freaking cooper? I almost needed to sit down.
When I got inside I went straight to my bedroom but Jellybean was sitting on my bed. "Everything okay?" She hugged my pillow tighter to her body. "Mom. She, she left us." Jellybean said breathing out the last part. I sat down and hugged her as she cried into my chest. "Can I ask h-how?" I say trying to keep myself strong. "Her And dad got into one of their fights, she said that this was the last straw and she was moving to Toledo ." She paused for a second and a tear managed to escape my eye. "She never said bye to me." Jellybeans soft cried turned into more of a hysterical crying. "Do you need anything, like a friend?" She looked up at me. "Actually can you take me to the coopers, Lexie said I could come over anytime." I took out my phone to call Betty since I had no idea where they lived. "Hey Jug, is everything alright?" I sniffled once away from the phone so I could be understood better. "Yeah, it's just...my mom just left me and Jellybean, apparently Lexie said she could come over anytime and Well, I have no idea where that is." You could hear my voice crack but I tried to ignore it. "Oh, god Jug I'm so sorry. And yeah, I'll drive her."  I thanked her and Hung up, waiting on her to get here.
I heard three knocks on the door. Betty came through and hugged me, then she went over to Jellybean. "Can I talk to you for a second?" Jellybean agreed and they went into Jellybeans room and shit the door. My curiosity got the best of me and I held my ear up to the door. "It's going to be okay, when my parents got a divorce I was a wreck, I even did some things that I regret." You could hear the pain in Bettys voice, but then you heard Jellybean gasp. "You can't tell anyone about these okay, the reason I showed you them is because I want you to know that you will get through it, I did this and it helped me in the moment but now I'm literally left with the scars." You could hear Jellybean saying something but I couldn't understand her. I then heard footsteps and I backed away from the door. "Ready?" Betty asked me. I shook my head and we all got in the car. The ride there was silent until Jellybean broke it. "Betty, why did your parents get a divorce?" When she asked that I immediately put my palm up to my face, I was going to be in a car with two crying girls. "Well, I lived this perfect life for 14 years, pink walls, light clothing, straight A's all that bull crap, but sometimes when people present themselves as perfect in the public, it can screw everyone up worse in private, my parents got into fights a lot but this one was bigger, my mom found my dad cheating on her with my best friend and cousins mom, Penelope Blossom, we moved out that night and lived on the street for awhile." Betty stopped for a second to gather herself but then continued. "Then the serpents came to us with open arms, my mom got a job and me, chic and Polly had to get part time jobs because it was a house of 7. I would usually be the one to babysit Lexie and the twins.that's why me and Lex became so close." She handled herself surprisingly well. I had to close my eyes for a second because I was getting overwhelmed. When we got to her house we parked and we all got out of the car. Betty took her key and burst through the house. "LEXIE, MOM!" She screamed out and they eventually got here. "Elezibeth what are you doing here?" She went over to whisper her something to her. I looked over and Lexie had embraced Jellybean. Betty then grabbed me by the hand and began to walk out. "I'll be here to pick you up whenever you text okay." Lexie looked up at us. "Can she stay the night?" Mrs cooper agreed then everyone looked at me. "Fine with me." I said walking out the door. When we got in the car Betty looked at me. "I want you to know I'll be here for you. Whatever you need and as whatever you want me to be." I had a tear forming in my eye but blinked it away. "About that, what do you want to be...to me." She shrugged her shoulders. "Well we could do one of two things, we could pretend like last night never happened and continue being friends or...or we could date."
I became really nervous and forgot all about my mom. "I don't know about you but...

A/N I'm so sorry that I left this on a cliffhanger, I just had to 😂 anyways you guys pretty much know what's gonna happen, unless I decide to be evil and make you wait even longer for bughead, you'll just have to see. Also sorry about this kinda uninteresting chapter, it gets more interesting around 13 Also sorry that this was posted late, I was out of town for my b-day!
