"Sasuke, you do this there's no going back." Kay warned Sasuke.
Sasuke turned to her. "I know."
He left from hiding, walking towards the Samurai.
"What does he mean by that?" Asked Suigetsu.
"That he doesn't care if he kills or not anymore." Kay answered, standing up and going to aid Sasuke.
"I'm very irritated right now, if you attack I can't promise I'll contain myself." Sasuke told the Samurai.
Kay caught up and stood next to him.
"We could tell you the same thing!" One of them said.
When Sasuke countered their attacks he said, "leave no one alive."
Kay's eyes failed to meet his but she complied, nodding.
Sasuke took the first one and Kay went in too, falling into her full name.
Her palms formed water stakes that she threw at the Samurai.
The water crawled up into their masks and into their bodies.
They drowned and dropped to the floor.
Then there were footsteps. "Sasuke, above us."
Sasuke looked up and heard the lightning above too, they jumped back as the ceiling broke down.
"I'm going to teach you to fear true fury." The Raikage said.
Sasuke ran after him.
"Sasuke don't do it alone!" Kay called.
"Water Style; Water Wall!" One of the men that came with him called. "Lightning Style; Emotion Wave!"
Kay reacted just fast enough, removing the water from the enemy's possession, already infused with lightning.
They watched.
"The intel we got seems correct, boss. Uchiha Sasuke is lightning style and fire style and Killmonger of the Mist is definitely with him."
"Sasuke, that's the Raikage." Kay said, "the one in the middle."
Kay held on to the water she had collected from the Raikage's men, happy she didn't have to use her own.
The Raikage and another jumped in to double on them but Suigetsu jumped in, holding his Throat Cleaver to stop them from hitting Sasuke.
The blade broke off, flying away from them.
"Great." Suigetsu whined.
"Who told you to butt in?" Sasuke asked.
"You've got to be fucking with me because I just saved you, not that this attitude isn't expected from you."
Juugo stepped in. "That one is a sensory type of ninja, isn't he?"
"Check for more of them, we don't need any more of them popping in." Said the man that had put up the Water Wall.
"If I try to locate more I won't be able to fight."
"We don't need you to fight." The other responded.
"Karin will be okay, she can hide her chakra." Kay assured the group.
"I'll take care of him." Juugo said, his skin changing.
Kay stepped away from him.
"Sasuke, we've got to be smart about this, you want this to happen as swift and fast as possible, you let us all contribute." Kay gave Sasuke a look.
He nodded, Kay squeezed his shoulder.
"Juugo, are you alright?"
"Never been better! I'm going to tear you all apart!" He cackled at the Cloud shinobi.
Kay felt an emotion creep up to her, not knowing what it was. Everything felt too dangerous, felt like they should retreat.
She looked at her feet and sighed. "Alright."
"What do you think the odds are that he remembers we're on his side?" Suigetsu asked.
"Shush." Kay told him, suddenly anxious.
The Raikage went after Juugo, Crashing him against the wall and pushing back.
"Suigetsu." Kay said and he went towards the sensory-type nin.
His broken blade was stopped by the other shinobi.
Kay turned to hear the crack of something behind her, Juugo was bleeding, his eyes closing.
"Suki, go." Kay said, a strain in her voice as Sasuke went to use genjutsu against the sensory-type.
She turned to look at where Karin was hiding. They met eyes.
Karin saw pain behind Kay's eyes, she didn't want any of what was going on.
"Die!" Juugo called as his body deformed.
Kay moved away, behind where Suigetsu stood.
"What the fuck is up with Juugo?" He asked.
Kay couldn't say anything.
"I killed him! I killed the big guy!"
"Bast, this is-" Kay started but stopped herself.
"This is wrong." Suigetsu finished.
The sensory-type nin had fallen under Sasuke's genjutsu and dropped to the ground.
"Hey, don't fall asleep on the job!"
Suigetsu swung his blade towards the other guy.
"Hey you, Killmonger of the Mist, right?" He called as he fought Suigetsu.
Kay hated that name.
"What would your father think of what you're doing?" He called.
Kay didn't turn to look at him, instead she watched the Raikage turn to Sasuke after he defeated Juugo.
"Your father would have been embarrassed of what you're doing!" He kept going.
"I wouldn't taunt her if I were you." Suigetsu called.
"You really have no shame, partnering up with Uchiha Sasuke." He spat, finally, "Bastet must have really turned her back on you."
Kay turned to him, realizing he was a follower. "You don't know what you're saying, and you don't know what they've done to him."
She kicked the ground hard, water shot up from under ground and she sent it to him, sending him against the the wall and pressing him in further.
The Raikage had grabbed ahold of Sasuke now and slammed him against the ground.
Kay reached for Karin's hand but it wasn't close like she was used to.
"Bastet, help him, help him." Kay whispered.
Sasuke appeared with his Susanoo.
The Samurai reinforcements came in, surrounding the Raikage and Sasuke.
Kay turned to see Suigetsu, trapped by a lightning-infused blade.
"Bast, won't you say something?" She scolded, going to remove the blade.
Her hands went to remove the blade but as soon as she touched it, it shocked her.
Her body trembled and dropped down.
"Shit." She said as she stood back up, electricity still rumbling through her.
Sasuke tried to use Amaterasu, catching a Samurai instead of the Raikage.
"Okay, I'm going to try again." Kay told Suigetsu.
"Be careful, Kill."
Kay grabbed the sword and pulled three times, freeing Suigetsu.
Kay fell to the floor, grunting as she tried to make the shocking currents go away.
"Kill, are you alright?"
She was shaking on the floor. "Fuck!"
"Kill, come on, don't scare me like this."
Kay reached her hand out to have Suigetsu help her stand up.
"I'm alright, I'm alright, come on."
Kay searched around, disoriented as she tried to find Sasuke.
Sasuke had taken a hit, the Raikage's arm was enflamed but he didn't seem to care.
Kay tried to step up as the Raikage went to drop kick Sasuke despite the black flames but Suigetsu was holding on to her.
Sand stopped the Raikage, Kay looked up to see who had stopped the attack.
Sasuke recognized it immediately.
"Who's that?" Kay asked, her strength coming back.
"You Samurai stay back, this is a problem for the Shinobi World. We don't need Samurai to become casualties." He said.
"Is he a Kage?" Kay asked as she stepped up, noticing the way he manipulated the sand, recognizing it as her own. "He's a jinshuuriki."
"Why do you interfere, Kazekage?" The Raikage demanded.
Kay frowned, he looked too young. He reminded her of her father.
"If you had completed your attack, you would have been consumed by the black flames, besides I wish to speak to Uchiha Sasuke." Gaara responded.
"Gaara of the Sand." Kay remembered.
"What?" Suigetsu asked.
"He's Gaara of the Sand. He used to be the host of the Ichibi." Kay explained herself.
"You still posses the same eyes. I have come to realize that vengeance as a path of life isn't fruitful. It is not too late for you."
Kay felt somewhat hopeful as she heard him speak, truly, this was what she wanted Sasuke to be. She wanted Sasuke to stop his need for revenge. Kay was no longer oblivious of what separated right from wrong and everything Sasuke had been doing lately had been wrong.
"Sasuke, if your eyes have shown even a glimmer of hope in the past or even in this moment-"
Sasuke turned too slightly towards Kay, Gaara didn't miss it.
"Killmonger, right?" He asked. "Of the Mist."
Kay walked up, standing between two Samurai.
"Yes." She nodded.
Sasuke turned to her with his eyes narrowing, telling her to not butt in and she looked down at her feet.
"Sasuke..." she whispered but he turned stiffly to Gaara.
"I shut my eyes long time ago."
"Sasuke, I can do this, Karin might've located Danzo." Kay said as Gaara's sand poured out.
Sasuke nodded and relaxed his stance.
They all attacked at once, the Kazekage, his two guards and the one she had fought from the Cloud.
Kay's jutsu had strengthened since she had fought Killer Bee. When she called "Water Style; Water Glass" it withstood all attacks.
"Everyone get away!" She called, a look of true pain overbearing her eyes as she stomped her foot and pulled the water out from underground. She shot it towards the ceiling, making it collapse.
When the ceiling started hitting the floor Kay turned to Sasuke, giving his hand a squeeze.
"I'll take the boys, go get Karin and find Danzo."
"Thank you, Kay."
She turned back to where Juugo was, pulling him away with her water but he was dropped when she heard the Raikage's heavy but fast steps going towards her.
She moved out of the way.
The water wrapped around his waist and tug him to the other side of the room.
"Suigetsu!" She called, "find Juugo."
"Got it, Kill."
Kay caught up with the Kazekage, they stared at each other, her water above her, his sand holding a piece of the ceiling that had fallen towards them.
"I'm so sorry." She told him, angry she felt she needed to apologize for Sasuke, "I never meant for anything to happen."
Her eyes turned to the Cloud ninja. "Bastet bless you."
She left the room, her water retrieving Suigetsu and Juugo.
"What are we doing now, Kill?" Suigetsu asked, running behind her now.
"You two are going to leave, I'm going after Sasuke." She answered.
"Kay, you can't take this on by yourself." Juugo disagreed.
"Yes I can, and it's not about that, we might need you guys to help us flee at moment's notice. Karin is with him." That was something that truly made her feel better.
"Right." Suigetsu agreed and made a turn that Juugo took with him, leaving Kay on her own.
She came to find a dead end. She stared at the makeshift wall.
She hovered her hand over it, feeling the heat.
"Mei."
She panicked, she knew who this person was, after her father had been taken, she took over.
"Terumi Mei!" She called. "Mei, this is Karatachi Killmonger!"
She waited for a reaction but it did not come from where she expected.
The wall next to her broke apart, a boy with a sword she did not know appeared.
She gave him a look over, recognizing his looks.
"Are you... a Swordman? One of the Seven?"
He stared at her, though she didn't remember him, he remembered her. He remembered what it was like after her father died and she turned up missing. "Killmonger-sama," he said slowly, "where have you been all these years?"
She stared at him and sighed. "I just want to take her. I advice you to let me through."
She walked right past him, he couldn't bring himself to do anything.
Kay kneeled to where Karin was. "How's it going, can you tell?"
"Mist shinobi, never do anything right!" The Tsuchikage grumbled.
"Shut up." Kay snapped, turning back to Karin.
Karin turned up to her. "She's strong."
Kay nodded. "She always has been, come on."
"But Sasuke-"
"I'll interfere, he's supposed to be saving his chakra for Danzo." Kay said disapprovingly.
She knew that was who deserved to be attacked, not Mei, not the rest.
"What's your name?" She asked the boy.
"Chojuro." He said, still stunned by the fact that he was having such a calm conversation with who should be considered his enemy. She was Yagura-sama's daughter, though, that strained him.
"Nice to meet you." Kay answered, her ear trying to give the fight a listen. "I'm sorry about what's going on, Chojuro, Tsuchikage-sama. This is not about any of you Kages, this is about Danzo."
"What has he done?" The Tsuchinkage asked.
Kay turned to look at Karin, Karin shrugged, not knowing if they should tell him.
"Fuck it." She sighed. "Sit down, Tsuchikage-sama, I do not mean you any harm."
Chojuro sat too, his blade resting against him.
"You're a good Swordsman, aren't you? That's a nice blade, Hiramekarei, right? Hozuki Mangetsu used to wield it when my father had just started his reign."
"Right, Killmonger-sama." Chojuro nodded.
Kay smiled, "the reason Sasuke wants to kill Danzo is out of vengeance."
The Tsuchikage listened closely.
"He reached his goal when he defeated his brother, Itachi but realized later on that his brother was not to blame for the death of his clan. Danzo was." Kay explained, trying to ignore whatever had been going on with Sasuke.
"I'll tell you the story, only because I'm not sure the rest of the Kages will understand or even know the reason why this went down in the first place once its over." She told him.
