"There is no way in hell you're getting me to do this."
The day following Chaejin and Chanyeol's late night adventure to Seven-Eleven posed to be somewhat draining for the female high school senior. Haneul had abruptly called in sick, which left Chaejin to walk around by herself for the majority of the day, occasionally talking to people she knew from some of her classes or other girls from the soccer team. A pop quiz during third period made the day even more shitty, especially because it was a subject she completely sucked at – Korean Literature, the bane of her existence.
On top of that, Jongin had yet to approach her about their pending dinner plans and, by the end of the day, Chaejin felt as if the whole thing had been a sham; probably some prank he had been put up to just so he and his friends could have a good laugh. It had put her in an awful mood, and she didn't have anyone to cheer her up.
Additionally, she hadn't seen or heard from Chanyeol for the entirety of the day. That was, at least, until she was about to exit the school building, upon which she promptly received a text from him that read: "Com 2 the bots loker roim @ basketball court asAp !!1!1!"
It took her all of five minutes to decode Chanyeol's poor texting skills, only to realize that he was telling her to meet him by the boys' locker room. Frowning, she texted a short response.
"Are you illiterate?"
She received a charming response from him seconds later.
"Suck my a$$."
Fast forwarding to more recent times, Chaejin had eventually found her way into the locker room after a couple more minutes of them sending messages back and forth. She sat, legs curled up to her chest, on one of the benches, her back pressed to the set of lockers behind her. Chanyeol was standing across from her in his basketball jersey and shorts, eyes narrowed as he had just heard her refuse whatever stupid plan he had come up with this time.
It wasn't an odd arrangement, upon first glance – Chaejin had already barged into the boys' locker room on multiple occasions (mostly trying to find Sehun). What was weird, though, was the fact that Minseok was also there, neatly leaning against the wall, beside Chaejin, and smiling lazily down at his phone.
"I'm not giving you a choice," Chanyeol was now saying, folding his arms. He then jerked his head towards Minseok, who seemed to be in his own world. "Besides, Minseok's ok with it."
Chaejin grimaced as Minseok looked over at her and shrugged. "Well, I'm not."
Chanyeol frowned, letting out a huff. "Listen, while I am still deeply, deeply offended that I was the second person you told about your date with the theatre dork," he sighed out, clutching at his chest dramatically, "I'm still willing to help. Does that mean nothing to you?"
