Similarly to the wildly popular tragic tale of Romeo and Juliet, the not-so-popular tale of Dumb and Dumber (aka Chanyeol and Chaejin) also had many different side-characters that contributed towards the main plot, all of whose lives were seemingly way less important when compared to the main protagonsits'. Yet, even side-characters have their own lives that, arguably, suck just as much as everyone else's in the story.

Take Oh Sehun, for example, who had found himself in a particularly awkward situation when he finally closed the front door to the house after Chaejin left.

Now, with his sister gone and his parents out for the night, he was alone with the very vibrant (and very pretty) goalkeeper of their high school soccer team, Lee Haneul. The same Lee Haneul that had fallen asleep on him just the night before.

"I hope Chaejin has fun, she's waited at least two years for this," Haneul hummed thoughtfully as the two of them ventured away from the front door and into the living room. Sehun gave a low grunt in response, watching as she started to gather her stuff, which she had messily thrown on the couch the moment she had gotten there. Not feeling comfortable being next to her, he took a seat in the single armchair, looking at everything and anything but Haneul as he tapped his fingers lightly on his knee.

It was a known fact among the basketball team that Sehun had absolutely no luck with girls. Unlike Chanyeol, the star of the very universe, Sehun wasn't Jesus of the flirting scene, and had only ever had one girlfriend (if a kindergarten relationship forged over the huge box of crayons he had owned counted). Other than that, no matter how many times he tried, Sehun couldn't seem to land himself a girl.

Not that he was trying to get with Haneul or anything. Why would he be? He barely knew her, despite her being so close to his step-sister. Though, that didn't mean that Haneul wasn't highly attractive. In fact, with her looks, Sehun was a bit surprised that she didn't have a boyfriend... or did she? He wasn't sure–

"Sorry about yesterday, by the way," Haneul suddenly spoke again, forcing Sehun out of his odd thought process.

He blinked. "What?"

"Yesterday night, when I was sick," Haneul explained, a small apologetic smile on her face as she took a seat on the couch. If she found the situation to be just as awkward as Sehun did, she showed no signs of it. "I accidentally fell asleep on you and put you in a weird situation, so I'm apologizing." She paused, as if waiting for a response, before continuing. "I stopped you from going out with your friends that night, too, so sorry... again." She then gave out a nervous laugh.

Sehun felt his heart rate quicken.

"Oh," was all he could manage to choke out. "It's ok."

"Right..." she replied, nodding shallowly as she pulled her knees up to her chest. After another heaving moment of silence, she spoke again. "You know, you're a lot different now than when you're around Chaejin."
