Bobbi's POV
Me, Sharon, Maria and Nat were having lunch and I just saw Tony Stark and his girlfriend leave the cafeteria in quite a hurry and a few minutes ago I saw Bruce leave the cafeteria in a haste. I wonder what they're hurrying after. I mean, Bobbi, it's not like you're spying on them. Maybe I am. Oh my gosh. Is it just me or does Clint look a little different today? I've had feeling for him for a couple of months now and I didn't dare tell my friends. I could just imagine them teasing me all about it.
"Bobbi?" Sharon snapped her fingers in front of my face.
"Huh?" I asked her.
"Jeez, what's up with you today?" Sharon asked me.
"Nothing. It's nothing," I quickly answered. I can't let them know that I like Clint. Ever since me and Hunter broke up, they've been overprotective of me when it comes to boys, I couldn't even go near a boy. Thank God Hunter went back to the UK.
"We were just talking about how we haven't received any missions lately. Don't they need us anymore?" Sharon asked.
"Guys, if Fury needs us for a mission, he'll assing us to one," I said. I don't care what they are talking about to be honest. Oh my God. He just stroked his hair with his hands. This is the cutest thing ever. I really wanna tell Clint that I like him. Maybe I should tell the girls. Nah, they'll just laugh.
"Finally. Somebody says something smart," Maria said.
"Maybe we should assign ourselves to a mission. I mean, we've never had a mission together," Natasha said. If it's against school rules, Natasha will suggest we do it.
"Not too sure about that, Nat," Sharon said. Oh now she has a change of heart. I saw Natasha looking at May get her food and then she stood up.
"Natasha, now is not the time," Maria said. Does she seriously want to do this again?
"Don't worry guys. I'm keeping a promise," Natasha turned and walked towards May. I don't like the confidence that was on her face before she walked out of here. We all looked at each other and could actually sense that the whole school was looking too. Even Clint.
Natasha's POV
"Hey, May," I walked up to her. I could tell that the entire cafeteria was looking. Even the lunch ladies. Lucky for me, Stark wasn't here to excite a fight. "The whole school's looking. Our table's over there. Come," I pointed at the girls. She reluctantly nodded and we made our way to the table. She sat down next to Bobbi and Sharon who were sitting across the table from us.
"Hello, May," Maria said to her.
"Maria," May said back. Do they know each other?
"Hi, I'm Bobbi and this is Sharon," Bobbi was being her usual nice self. She took out her hand and shook hands with May.
"So May, are you and Coulson... you know... a thing?" The other girls looked at me in astonishment. "What? I'm only curious,"
"We're not," she said. That was it? There was a awkward silence for about a minute.
"I bet your mother was real pissed at me, huh," I said to her, making a joke.
"Oh, you have no idea. She suggested that I fight you," she smiled after saying that. The first time I've seen her smile. We all looked at each other. "What?" May asked, clearly not understanding the eye conversation me and the other girls were having.
"You smiled," I said.
"It's the first time you smiled since the 'incident'," Maria said. May stopped smiling pretty fast after that. Good going, Maria, we were actually getting her to loosen up.
"I have an idea," I said. Hope this makes May comfortable around us.
"No hacking," Sharon said. May looked at her funny.
"It involves no hacking, I promise. How about a sleep over at me and Sharon's room tonight?" Bobbi already looked pretty excited about that.
"I'm in," Bobbi said. I knew it.
"Before you say anything, Maria, you have no choice in the matter," I spoke before she could say no.
"I was actually gonna say yes," Maria said. She's not usually like this since tomorrow's a school day but fuck it, tomorrow's Friday anyway. Sharon nodded to show her approval. I mean, it's in our room so she'll obviously be there.
"What do you say, May? It'll be fun," she looked unsure about this.
"Okay," I can still sense the uncertainty in her voice but she agreed and that's all that matters.
"Okay ladies, see you tonight,"
~9 pm~
Maria and Bobbi had made it into our room. We were just waiting for May. We are actually worried that she ditched us when suddenly we heard a knock on the door. I ran over to open it and it was May. Phew!
"Sorry. You didn't give me the room number," she said. Okay, she has a point there. She walked in. The other girls were as relieved as I was when May walked in. This was all so she could feel comfortable around us after all.
"So what do we do first?" Bobbi asked.
"I'm so glad you asked. You guys ready? We are playing Truth or Dare," I answered. For them, that didn't sound good. I dish out the worst dares possible but we were always able to get away with it because we are trained to be spies after all. We all sat in a circle on the floor. On my right was Bobbi then Maria then Sharon then May all the way back to me. "All right then, let the game begin,"
Bobbi's POV
"Truth or dare, Agent 13?" Nat asked Sharon. Sharon kinda has no choice in this 'cause either way, she's doomed. May looks like she's having fun. Kinda. I can't tell.
"Truth," Sharon answered. She's afraid of Nat's dares.
"Do you have a crush on Captain America?" All of us, including May leaned in so we could hear the answer. Hope nobody asked me if I like Clint, or anybody else for that matter.
"I do," Sharon blushed. We all squealed in excitement.
"What?! How about I hook you guys up?" Nat asked. I think we all saw this coming.
"No, no. It's not necessary. He just got out of ice and needs to focus on the Avengers training. I bet the last thing that he's thinking about is a girlfriend. Besides, why would he go out with me when so many girls in school like him too?" I hate when Sharon downgrades herself like this.
"Come on, Sharon. Don't compare yourself to other people," I assured her. We all nodded in agreement.
"Truth or dare, Widow?" Sharon asked her. Nat kinda hated that name because it reminded her of the Black Widow program that she was part of at her old school but we decided that it's a cool code-name for her if she was gonna be an Avenger.
"Well, this is embarrassing," embarrassing indeed. She knew Sharon wasn't gonna go easy on her. "Truth," She answered.
"What's the issue between you and Clint? Are you guys together or what?" Sharon asked her. Ugh. I hate that so many people ship Nat and Clint and truth be told, I'm worried that the rumours are gonna get to them and they're gonna develop feelings for each other and hook up. I hate it.
"Clint and I are just friends. Nothing is going on between us. I wish everyone would just stop saying that," whew! I was worried there for a sec. At least she wants to keep it strictly platonic. I breathe deep in and out to calm myself down. As soon as I looked up, I saw May looking at me. She then looked away.
"Well then, let's comtinue with the game," we continued the game, played some board games and had a pillow fight then fell asleep.
