Landing on Berk it was just as mom described it to me as a kid, still that feeling of nervousness stuck around. Why was I so nervous? It's not like I'm meeting an uncle for the first time, oh wait, I am.

"It alright to be nervous," Astrid said, placing a hand on my shoulder, smiling I nodded. Well, I made it to Berk, defiantly no turning back now.

"Hiccup my son, what brings you all here?" his dad asked, crushing him in a hug.

"Supplies and another thing, have you seen Gobber around by any chance?" he asked, escaping them death crushing hug.

"I seen him earlier at the blacksmith, why you ask?" He asked, "I didn't even have the chance to realize what was happening, the twins pulled me front and center.

"GOBBER HAS A NEICE," the both of them yelled, I didn't like being put in the spotlight. Grabbing them by there ankles, sending them faceplanting into the ground, "you two idiots are annoying," I snapped at them, probably not the best way to introduce myself.

For a moment it was silent, "Hilda?" I heard someone asked catching my attention. Turning my attention, a Viking with a peg leg and a hook for a hand walked this way. Hook for hand, peg for a leg. Could he be my sister's brother, my uncle?

"Not quite, my mom died about 10 years ago when I was 6," I said, surprising him. He was gathering his thoughts I could tell by his face. "You didn't know, did you?" I asked, he shook his no. "She sent letters when she left Berk, the letters stopped coming. The last letter I got from her was when she announced she was having a child," he said

"How can you be sure that this is Hilda's child?" Stoick questioned Gobber with uncertainty in his voice. Astrid nudged me, "Now's your chance," she said, I grabbed the letter from my dragon's satchel bag.

Taking a deep breathe, here goes nothing, "There was something she told me the night she died, if you come across a Viking village called Berk, be sure this letter makes it to my brother, your uncle. Tell him I'm sorry for not returning home as I promised I would," I said, handing him the letter.

"Stoick, this is my sisters handwriting indeed, I recognize it well. She's my sister's child and......my niece," Gobber said, realization hitting him, I felt all eyes on me. I stepped back towards Spitfire; there was a reason why I stuck to the shadows.

"Are you sure Gobber?" Stoick asked, Gobber handed the letter to Stoick, "Yes I'm sure, she was my sister after all, I grew up with her," Gobber argued back.

"It's alright to not fully trust or believe me, your son was skeptical about trusting me as well, none of them really trusted me at first," I admitted, Spitfire put up defense mode, from all the gazes that were aiming towards me.

"If my son can trust you, I suppose I could learn to trust you, seeing as you are related to Gobber here," Stoick agreed, reluctantly. "That's the best you'll get out of him," Hiccup said. After the family reunion, I got to know my uncle, turns out everything mom told me about his was true.
