The mission

She was 14 now, and had a mission. Her mission was to find her real parents, move in with them, and live happily. She searched for about 3 months and finally found them... but they were in jail. She was curious so she kept digging. They both went to jail for robbery and... murder? She thought it was strange so she stopped looking.

"New plan..." she said to herself "I'm going to go to the orphanage and put myself up for adoption again. I'll get a better life. A better family." Kat heard this and got happy. She didn't want Sam in her life anymore, she was a loser. "Finally I get rid of this bitch" Kat said

She went back and started packing her bags. "If I leave before Mr. and Mrs. ______ get home then I should be ok. Say that my parents left me, that I was just wondering and found this place. Hopefully they won't recognize that I'm insane." So off she went, sayin goodbye to Kat, she just grabbed her pills and some clothes, a water bottle, and crackers. She was set to make it to the adoption agency. "As soon as I get there, I'll dye my hair." She thought. So she walked and walked for 7 hours without resting.

She finally got there "Hello, welcome to the adopti- oh my god are you ok?" The nice lady behind the desk said. Sam instantly froze up. "Am I ok?" She thought. The only words that came out of her mouth were "parents...gone...help...?" And the nice lady replied with "oh dear, come back here, I'll help you out". She's now in the adoption agency. She made it. She was safe. Safe from the hell whole she lived in with her bully. The nice lady walked us down a hall "oh! Before I forget! My name is Ms.Sarah! What's yours?"
"W-what's my n-name?"
"Yeah! We need to know what to call you, anyway"
"My n-name is A-Alexandra....but people c-call me A-Alex..."
"You have quite a stutter there, Alex!"
"Y-yeah, sorry"
We got to the room. It was teal. It reminded me of Kay's room. "No! I can't think about that! I'm going to make a new life here now! It's going to be better!" Sam thought.
"New meat huh?" Said a random voice
"Oh my god! Don't sneak up on me like that, Eli! But yes, she is new so you WILL treat her with respect, you hear?"
"Yes ma'am..."
"Eli this is Alex, Alex, Eli" Ms. Sarah smiled
I introduced myself as best I could "H-h-h-h-hi"
"Oh wow..." said Eli
"Go clean up you two! Dinner is about to be ready!" She rushed away, probably trying not to burn the food.
"That's quite a stutter you got there Alex. Kind of weird but I dig it"
I stayed silent
"What? The silent treatment now?"
I didn't want to stutter again so I wrote down what I wanted to say. I found a piece of paper and wrote down, "are we the only two here?"
"Yeah, nobody shows up anymore. I just gave up at this point" he says, leaning on the doorframe
I write down "oh alright"
"So what's with this whole writing thing? You can speak" he said looking down
I wrote "I don't like stuttering in front of new people so I act mute or deaf to get away with it."
He just turned around and walked away, claiming to get ready for dinner.
"This is going to be interesting..." I thought to myself.
