"Oh. Uh, Hi Zak." Tim says as innocently as he possibly could as he slips his arms behind his back. "What are you guys doing here?"
"Well, we're doing an investigation in a town nearby and after your phone call we thought we'd come by and check on you." Zak says with a smile not knowing he might have just dug Tim's grave.
"Oh." Tim says as he nervously glances up at his cousin who was still glaring down at him. "So, who's your friend?" Tim asks turning his attention to the dark-haired lady and noticed that she had her eyes closed.
"I'm sorry." Zak apologized with a chuckle. "Tim, this is Amy Allen. She's a Paranormal Researcher and Physical Medium. In other words, she sees and talks to dead people."
"Interesting. But why does she have her eyes closed." Tim asks.
"Tim, Zak told me just a little about what happened. Only that your husband passed away a few months ago and that you think he's here." Amy says.
"What?" Rob asks as he looks at Chance with a shocked expression. Chance gives him a slight nod.
"That's all the information I want to know. He did fill me in on the problems you guys had a couple of years ago with spirits in this house. What I would like to do is to do a walk-through and see just what's going on. I know that you believe that it is your husband but there could be a portal in this house that a spirit might have slipped through. And it could be disguising itself as your husband, feeding off your energy. I just want to make sure." Amy says.
"Well, how do you expect to do that with your eyes closed?" Austin asks causing the medium to laugh.
"I've got my eyes closed because I know you probably have pictures setting around. I don't want to know what your husband looks like or anything about him." Amy says.
"But my bedroom is full of pictures." Tim says.
"That's why I want you to do me a favor. I need you to take down or cover any family photographs that might have your husband in them. Or anything that he might have owned that will interfere with my reading." Amy says. "Zak and Arron know what I mean by that and they can help you."
"I have a lot of pictures hanging up. It's going to take awhile." Tim says.
"That's fine. I'll come back tonight. If that's okay?" Amy smiles.
"Do we need to leave?" Avi asks.
"No, but I will need you to be as quiet as possible." Amy answers. "It's fine to ask a few questions during the walk-through."
"Maybe it's best that we need to go somewhere." Kelsey says as she looks around at Rob. "Lydia doesn't know to be quiet."
"We can go spend the night at my parents' house. Give them some time to spend with their granddaughter." Rod says and Kelsey nods in agreement.
"So what do you guys think?" Tim asks as he looks around at the others. He didn't want to agree to anything without their okay.
Avi went to get Adam from his hiding place and reassured him that Chance would not kill him.
"Well, we need to know if this is really Chris. If it's not, then we have a problem." Chance says as he adjusts his ball cap.
"I agree." Rob says with a nod.
"And we don't want to go through what we did last time." Austin adds.
"But wouldn't Adam be able to tell whether or not it's Chris?" Avi asks.
"Well, not necessarily." Zak answers. "Yes, Adam is sensitive but he's not really fully trained in using his ability. A spirit could very well fool him."
