They had just broken free from the hug when they heard the smashing of glass. They all quickly gathered in a group, and Namjoon held out an arm to shield Amara.
Zombie upon zombie was swarming in through the now broken windows. Shards of glass cut into their fleshy bodies and did nothing to slow them down. Steadily, they advanced towards the group who hadn't expected for the zombies to find them.
Amara moved out from behind Namjoon and readied her weapon. It was sweet of him to want to protect her, but she had to learn to do it herself. So, she grasped her weapon in front of her and waited for the zombies to reach hitting distance.
JB then pulled something out of his pocket and told the others to put on their masks. He flung the object in his hand and green smoke rose to the ceiling. A putrid smell erupted alongside the smoke and the zombies advanced forward still.
While their sight was obstructed, the group of humans ran to the nearest door and hid inside the room. They looked around and found a window that was large enough for them to fit through.
Once outside they raced to their cars and before getting inside, Jackson asked, "where's Yugyeom?"
