They weren't expecting a warm welcome from the guys who had been staying in the warehouse. After all, it had been their safe-house for a while, and anyone would be cautious if a group of unknown people invaded their space. However, they weren't prepared for the looks of disdain that coated each of their faces.

Taeyong stood off to the side and scratched his head awkwardly. Then he shrugged and said, "it's... It's just been a while since we met other survivors, and the guys are suspicious of why you asked me to bring you here."

"This is bullshit," Yoongi mumbled under his breath, and only those who were closest to him could hear it. Namjoon shot him a glare and stepped forward and held his hands up in a show of peace.

"I get it. I really do." He inched forward more and stopped when he saw the other guys reach for their weapons."Woah, hold on. Stay back Amara," he warned the girl without turning his head; somehow he had sensed that she was about to rush to his rescue.

"We're only here for shelter and nothing else. We'll even go someplace else in the building if that's what you want? It is a rather large building and is enough to house all of us."

"Let's just give them a chance," Taeyong spoke to his friends. "They're safer in here than they are out there, and we're all human. As humans, shouldn't we look out for one another? If not, aren't we just as bad as the flesh-eaters that are currently roaming the town?"

"I say they leave," a silver-haired boy put in his input, a frown formed between his brows. And he scoffed, "we don't have enough food as it is, and what if they're useless? They'll just be a burden. Especially..." His eyes travelled over to Amara.

She matched his glare with one of her own and rolled up her sleeves ready to fight the little shit, only to be held back by Namjoon.

"Haechan be nice!" scolded one of the older-looking ones in the group, and he smiled apologetically. "Sorry about him."

"He has a point, what if they can't even do anything? We have enough trouble getting supplies and other stuff; they'll just hold us back if they can't do anything," another guy agreed with his friend.

Taeyong now seemed at a loss, and Amara's group were starting to tire. If things weren't settled soon, they were sure they would collapse on the spot.

"Why not put it to a vote?" asked a bunny-looking male. "For those who are against it and for those that want them to stay."

The two leaders thought over it for a moment, and both agreed that it was a good idea.

"Ok, we'll put it to a vote," Taeyong said. "Let's think over it for tonight and vote on it in the morning. Nobody's going to think straight when they're tired. There are plenty of empty spaces for you to use, so choose wherever, and we'll meet again in the morning."

"Alright."

They all went their separate ways, and once they were settled in their respective resting places, they fell into a not so peaceful sleep.
