The New Beginning

I leaned on the gate of Konoha reading my book, waiting for my team to come. Tenzo was talking with Kotetsu and Izumo, which were in their booth near the gate. Sai was sitting on the ground reading "relationships for dummies" such a catchy title... In the next moment, Sasuke and Sakura came into the view, and stand next to us. Then Naruto jumped off the rooftop and was nearing Sai, with a curious look on his face. He opened his mouth to say something, but the breathless voice interrupted him.

- Gomen! I'm-

- You're late! - Sakura and Naruto shouted, pointing at Obito while he sweatdropped.

- Hn. - was Sasuke's reaction.

- Calm down Kakashi wannabes, I - he was interrupted again.

- I was lost on the road of life? - Naruto asked.

- I had meeting with fate? - Sakura teased.

- Or maybe your fortune cookie told you to be late? - Sasuke added.

- What kind of shitty excuses are those? - he asked this time I sweatdropped.
