I walked down the stairs after she walked out my room, but I was too late. She slammed the front door shut and my friends looked at the door then me.
That's when I knew I fucked up when Ace gave me a glare.
"What happened?" Mikey asked, pausing the game. They stood up and walked over to me.
I shook my head feeling ashamed. "I called her a whore." I said, lowering my head.
"What?" Blake exclaimed. "Why?"
"I asked her who the father of the baby was and she said didn't want to talk about. I got mad and said that Tara was right for calling her a whore. Then she slapped me saying that I didn't know anything about her." I explained.
"Yeah, we can see that." Ace said, with a smirk.
I rolled my eyes. "I feel so bad. What do I do?"
"Well, first of all..." Mikey said, he slapped me on the same side that Emmy slapped me on.
"What the hell dude!" I yelled.
"You needed it." Blake said. "You don't know how much Tara's words affect her. When I met her, she was so sad."
"Yeah, you fucked up dude." Ace said.
"Don't you think I know that?" I said, dragging my hands across my face.
"You need to apologize and not the sappy way just saying 'I'm sorry', you have to speak a speech." Mikey said. I nodded, taking mental notes.
"I'll help you." Mikey said.
I smiled at him. "Thanks." I said.

When I got home, Stephen was there. I walk into the house and walk pass him. He didn't seem to spot me because he didn't call my name.
Night came faster than I thought and as I was getting ready to go to sleep, I felt a painful cramp in my lower stomach. It hurt really bad, it worst than my period cramps. It went away after a couple of minutes.
I slid into bed and let sleep take over me.
I woke up from a wet sensation in my lower area. I got up from my bed, probably thinking I just peed the bed, but I saw blood on my legs. I gasped and quickly went to the bathroom. I turned on the light, getting a better view.
I was bleeding non-stop from my area and when I sat down on the toilet, a little fetus came out. I held in my hands. This was my baby girl, Stella.
I miscarried.
Tears slid down my cheeks and I was balling my eyes out. Sobs were coming out my mouth, my lip was quivering, and I would hiccup a couple of times. I called my OB/GYN. Dr. Nancy told me I could call her anytime if anything happens. I looked at the time on my phone. It was 3 a.m.
I dialed her number. She didn't pick up, but when I called her the third time she answered.
"Dr.N-Nancy, I miscarried." I said, a sob escaping my mouth.
"Oh, Emerald, I'm sorry to hear that." She said.
"What do I do? She's in my hand." I said, holding back another sob.
"First, clean yourself up and put on a pad. Come by tomorrow morning and we'll check up on you." Dr. Nancy said.
"What do I do with her?" I said.
I heard Nancy sigh. "Say your goodbye dear. I know how you feel. I've been through a miscarriage. Flush her down the toilet and say goodbye."
"O-ok." I said. "Thanks." I said.
"No problem dear." She said.
I hung up and looked down at my hand.
"I knew you were going to have a rough life, Stella." I said.
I kissed her little head. It felt weird since it was gooey and it had some blood, but I didn't care.
"Goodbye, Stella." I said. I slowly dropped her in the toilet and flushed her down.
I sighed and decided to take a quick warm shower. Once I was done, I slid up my panties after I put a pad on.

When I woke up, my bleeding was heavy. I took a shower and got dressed for school and my appointment. I was super tired and not only that, I was sad. I wasn't happy anymore.
When I walked down the stairs, I saw Stephen on the phone. I walked over to him and tapped his shoulder, not knowing what to do.
"What do you want?" He asked, rolling his eyes.
"Umm, I miscarried. Just wanted you to know." I said.
He looked at me and shrugged his shoulder. "Wish your mom miscarried with you, but she didn't. Sadly."
That made me even more sad.
He's probably right.
I got left with Stephen when my mom left us. When I was 5, my dad left my mom and I. He just left with a word. My mom was devastated, but she moved on and when I was 10, my mom got married to Stephen. She was happy. He was happy. I was happy for my mother.
But, when I was 12, she left also. That left Stephen heartbroken and that's when he started to beat me me physically. Sexually, at 13.
That's how my life went. Stephen was in love with my mother and he blames me for her leaving.
All I want to know is why my parents left me.
I nodded my head at him and walked out the door, starting my walking to the OB/GYN. I knew I was going to be late for school, but I didn't care. My emotions were mixed. I felt guilt, sadness, anger, and most of all, I felt depressed.
When I arrived, I was greeted by the lovely desk lady. I waited a couple of minutes before I was called for Dr. Nancy.
Nancy ran a couple blood tests and when she came back to the room she looked at me.
"Your alright. Your health is good, but I can't tell you the reason why you miscarried because I don't know. All you have to do now is move on. Your still young, you have plenty of times to get pregnant and have babies again. You should be expecting heavy blood flow for the next week or for 2 weeks." Nancy explained.
I nodded and thanked her.
It was probably the stressed.
"Thank you, for everything." I said.
"No problem. If you need anyone to talk to, I'm here." Nancy said.
I nodded and hugged her. She hugged me back.
"You need a pass for school?" Nancy asked.
I nodded. "Let me write one." Nancy said, leaving the room and coming back a couple of minutes later.
"Have a good day at school." Nancy said.
"Thanks."
