Telly's P.O.V.

Wednesday

I found myself in Icing with Rem. I had enough jewelry to go with my homecoming attire so I looked at the attitude glasses. We shopped together in silence. After she paid for the haul of silver and gold we walked into the food court. I picked out a table while she ordered at Chick-Fil-A. She came back with 2 cookies and creme milkshakes and 2 large fries. " Has Jared been distant since my sleepover?" She asked before wrapping her lips around the straw and slurping some of the ice cold goodness.

" A little. He's just practicing really hard for the homecoming game tomorrow." I answered before repeating her action.

"That makes sense. Logan's been the same way. I invited them both to tag along with us. The turned me down." She looked at her hands and I dug into my fry carton. " Oh yeah. I have a gift for you." She fished something out if her purse and slid it face down. I picked it up and read the box. Trojan condoms. Her pleasure.

" You're welcome."

"Rem are you crazy!!" I stifled a laugh.

" No I just want my best friend to be safe."

" Thanks." I pushed the little box into my purse and slurped more of my milkshake. " So I dare to ask. When are Toph and Bryn gonna start dating already."

"I was thinking the same thing. Maybe they're hooking up without telling anyone." Remie thought aloud. I tossed another fry in my mouth.

" You never told me what youre gonna wear to homecoming on Friday." I steered the topic a different direction.

" Oh its beautiful. A sapphire blue strapless number. It really brings out my fake blue eyes." I threw my head back in laughter and she joined me. We finished the fries and still sipped on the half finished milkshakes as we made our way to Sephora. " Telly you need to smell this." Remie shoved a perfume bottle into my chest. I balanced it in my hands and sprayed a bit on her arm. I nodded and inhaled. I settled on buying John Frieda brilliant brunette shampoo and conditioner along with rosebud salve. It was suggested by Remie. She dragged me into JCPenny and didn't let go until we reached the juinors.  I looked at the scarves as she tried on outfit after outfit. Before we knew it the time read 9:30 and we were thrown out because it was closing.

I rode shotgun in her mini cooper again and played around with the music. " Let's go get our nails done after school before the game tomorrow. And then on Friday before the dance we can get our hair and makeup done by each other. Jen gave me the idea." Remie filled the half silence. " Oh yeah Friday during school, we have to dress as a store. Like if you picked Charlotte Russe, every item of clothes had to be from there."

"Nice." There was silence again and I pulled out my phone.

Me: I need to borrow Abercrombie fierce for Friday.

Jared: why.

Me: you'll find out. How was practice.

Jared: long and tiring. but it was worth it.

Me: where is the team going for after the game.

Jared: Red Lobster by the promenade.

Me: k

I put my phone away and focused on my thoughts. Then I popped the question. " Remie do you really think Jared will have sex with me in two days."

"Hells yeah. Telly your a really hot woman. Trust me. Jared wouldn't be able to control himself. Just try not to think about it. You have nothing to fear."
