Telly's P.O.V.

-------------------------------------------------------------

I checked my phone for the endless array of text messages. Today was when Christmas break started. Everyone was wishing others well during the long stretch of absolutely nothing. Another 2 weeks had gone by since Logan had tried to apologize. I wished I wasn't so hard on him.

The twinkle in this eyes didn't twinkle anymore. A frown was permanently plastered on his face. His voice always sounded off. Out of place. It's been god knows how long since I've heard or seen him laugh. I probably wouldn't ever admit this but I feel terrible. Logan looked bad. He needed help. I need help. We both need help.

About fourty more pings came. A mismosh of texts, snapchats, kik messages, and other irrelevant crap. Not a single one from Logan. There was never a single one. Not anymore at least. My door swung open and closed. Jase was dressed in the prettiest ugly sweater I've ever seen. His inked collerbones peeked out.

"Merry Christmas!" He shouted and pushed a box into my chest.

"It sure as hell doesn't feel like it." I picked the wrapping paper. "This is honestly the best wrapping job you've done. Oh my lord there's even a little bow." I looked up at him. Noticing something different. "Jase can you see me?" His hipster eyeglasses didn't rest on his face.

"Obviously I shoved a box into your boobs. My sights getting better." He rolled his eyes. "Open it! Open it!" He jumped up and down like a kid in a candy store.

"Okay Jase. I'm opening it." I ripped the red wrapping off to reveal a box with a silver apple. I looked at him like he was crazy.

"Go on." He urged me to open it. "Merry Christmas my love." A white shiny iPad air stared back at me. His eyebrows furrowed as I looked up at him.I never expected him to get it for me.

"There's more." He pulled out a Tiffany and Co. Box from his pocket. "Open it." A matching Please return to Tiffany and Co. bracelet and necklace rested nicely inside.  The had my initials oon it. C.C.A. He pulled it out and wrapped the bracelet on my wrist. "Do you like it?" He bit his lip and spoke softly.

" I love it." I choked out at how much thought he put into it.

"As much as you love me?"

"No Jase I love you way more. But I still really love them." I placed them down on my vanity. I hugged him and held him tight. He breathed into my hair. " I have something for you." I let go of him and went to get his gift from the back of my closet. I already charged it and didn't bother wrapping it.

"Lemme guess. You got me a CD from The 1975 or something." I heard his eyes rolling in his tone. "Well come on out. Don't be shy."

I kept the laptop behind my back and walked towards him. "Whats one thing that you really wanted this year?"

"A girlfriend."

"I got you something better."

"Whats better than someone you can cuddle with?" He looked so confused.

" Um excuse you. I'm a great cuddler and you said it before. But this is better than cuddling." I pulled it out in front of me. "Merry Christmas Jasey." His expression was the same. "Say something."

"I don't have much to say. I love it." He took it from my hands and put it next to my gifts. "That had to be a fortune."

"I didn't spend as much as you did for Cancoon." He engulfed me in a hug again. "I'm gonna miss you. I'm not gonna have anyone for Christmas or New Years." I sighed into his ear.
