Girlish fancies

Roshini nodded and went into her room. Papa had asked her to wear Fuschia color dress and she quickly went inside her powder room to get ready. It was not difficult to find that umbrella cut Fuschia long frock, as she had a habit of organizing things properly in her wardrobe. Again a habit that Papa had inculcated into her. She looked very beautiful and half her age in this frock. This dress was her brother Aki's selection and Aki was her shopping partner every time. He had a eye towards things that stood out of the box. Whatever he selected had something unique to point out. This dress had a teal color flower worked lace on its neck and that would grab anyone's attention for sure. She also took out a teal blue shrug from her wardrobe to make the attire look formal. She was after all going to office and not to walk over a ramp, she thought!!!! Next task was to look out for a matching earrings, eye shadow, lipstick and a matching pair of shoes or sandle. She took out a pink heart shaped, medium sized tops, baby pink lipstick, teal glimmer stick and silver eye shadow. She was found of eye makeup. As a child she dreamt of being a makeup artist. Though that dream could not come true, she always found joy in doing ladies eye makeup during family functions or friendly get togethers and highly fashionable ladies like Mishti would wait for her turn and made sure Rosh is going to do her eye makeup.

Mishti often jokingly said:

"Let's start a part time gallery for ladies during functions and charge everyone Rs 250/ if they bring their materials or Rs 400, if we use our products. I will be your assistant, so I will be getting it done free. On the top of that l will be using my own make up kit. " She giggled with her idea and Roshini would join her giggles. She smiled at this thought crossing her mind and she was done with her decking up business.

Quickly she took her velvet pink shoes out of her shoe rack and went towards the living area to keep it near the door step. She saw Papa was all ready and was wearing a grey jacket over T-shirt and he looked more dashing. He was tying his shoe laces and Roshini quickly went near him and sat on her knees to help him with the task.

Papa looking at her: I will do it baby.

Roshini: But I love to do it for you. Sir, you relax.

Papa loved that Sir salutation, as he knew that it was he who taught her to address him in that manner, when in office or court premises. Initially she juggled but his grinning face and sulking dialogues, if she called him Papa in work time would be more horrible than a horror film and she steadily balanced between Sir and Papa, easily according to the scenario.

Papa : Hogaya toh chale? (If, you are done let us move).

Rosh: Papa, l need to pack our lunch, so please give me ten more minutes...

Papa rolled his eyes and checked the time, peeping into his trendy white wrist watch. He had a good collection of watches, shoes, glares and jackets. He spent a good amount on it and wanted to look good for his better half; Mishti, his second wife, yet his love and sweet heart.

Mishti and he have met some twelve years ago, when he was a rough and tough angry young man, who was struggling with some terrible traumatic loss in his life. His mother and he developed hatred towards eachother. His mother held him responsible for his first wife's suicide and announced him guilty. He failed every time and was tired explaining her that Amrita (His first wife) was under severe depression, due to death of their daughter in birth and elder son, at a small age. She always doubted JK. He blamed that his first wife never mentally or morally supported him, when he juggled with his child's health and work. After the Child's demise, she treated him badly and denied him all his husband's right over her. He again struggled with his strained marriage and this detoriated his health later. There were situation in which he felt he was nearing death, sometime in his thirties, he was praying for his early death being critically sick and hospitalized. You call it God's grace or his well wishers prayers that ressurcted him each time. His father (Adi ) stood by his bed side and his Ram Raksha and Hanuman Chalisa, always helped JK to fight his battle between life and death. Later his work and his kids Rosh and Aki, added light in his life. Forgetting his pain, he lived his life to the fullest. He never thought of remarriage but with the stroke of luck, Mishti,a girl 12 years younger to him entered his life and with her love and care, she stole his heart away. Now they will be entering 13 years of their happy married life and Mishti has completed their little world with a cute son,Yash, who is ten now and before she enters her 15th anniversary she wants to gift him with a Baby girl but JK is all No to this new future baby and controls himself, considering that he is 50.
