Chapter 4: Wandering & Distracting mind

Synopsis: In the last chapter we understood that Roshini too is a lawyer and she works with her Papa. Work Mania elements must have blowed your mind.

Mew Mew and Roshini stared at the Cat clock, another attractive element of Work Mania that can mesmerise anyone there!!! Papa had a special love for cats and this antique cat shaped clock was a special gift sent to Papa on his 50th birthday. It just happened last month. His birthday got celebrated twice in a year because he was born on a Janmasthami day. On Janmasthami their family followed fasting, papa only received blessings from his family and close relatives; no other birthday presents. Roshini have had heard stories from her grandpa (Dadu) that Papa's birth brought good luck to the family. The actual celebration took place on the birth date, he was born. He loved to cut cake, go to temple and throw a party on this day. His recently celebrated birthday was special and grand for three reasons...

First that he turned 50, half century in his words.

Second that Aki got recently married to Nisha, love of his life.

Thirdly, Sona, Ravi's wife declared the news of her pregnancy on this same day.

The entire family was happy with this news, as Sona conceived only after six years of their marriage. Though Papa had differences with Ravi, he liked Sona. She often addressed Papa as Bhaisaheb and Papa called her choti bahu, imitating his father's tone.Though he celebrated triple happiness. He missed his parents badly on that day. His father had wished him but his mother had not...

His inner sadness vanished when this anonymous cat clock reached him. He tried hard to find out who this secret admirer was? Interesting point that brought a frown on his forehead and a smile on his face was that "whoever this person is!!!!! He or She knew Papa loved cats."
