Chapter 16: JK office

Synposis: We see that JK and Rosh go to temple. They discuss Mishti (Jk's wife) who is out for a function. JK was about to get knocked down by a bus while crossing the lane, after car park and his brother Ravi saves him. This episode introduces Shruti. Check who is she?

JK and Roshini had reached office by 12: 30 pm in the afternoon . JK saw that his assistant Shruti was seated at the Reception table and was reading a book about law. He was waiting for Roshini to push the glass door at their entrance, as his hands were terribly paining.

Introducing Shruti as Sai Pallavi

Shruti was from Chennai and had joined him as an intern, two years back. Generally, interns could hardly cope up with strict JK and left him after the internship. Shruti was a good student and this year was her final year at college. JK always feared that she will leave his company as soon as she passes out. On the other hand, Shruti was scared that JK can sack her because of her childish behaviour.

JK really had a liking for this 19-year-old girl and Roshini would say, " Papa adopt her, as I need a younger sister."

Shruti and JK had the same kind of liking - be it a colour, book, brand of pen or pencils; even their sunscreen and talcum powder matched, as Shruti behaved more like men. She was quick with her thinking and JK loved it. But she got distracted easily and would forget things that made JK mad and shout at her. She would cry then and soft-hearted JK would always calm her down with a dark chocolate. She asked him a lot of personal questions that too irritated him. But he loved to tell her stories about his Punjab days, Childhood, College days in Goa. He even told her cooked up stories and she believed what he said blindly!Like all girls who get lured towards a good looking and smart fatherly figure, she was not an exception. JK called her anytime if he would go out of the station and ask some data and she would promptly answer him all his queries. She had a masterpiece dialogue when JK would thank her:

"Anything for you SAAR."

Roshini was in love with her South Indian accent and shared a good chemistry with Shruti. Sometimes, she got jealous when JK would praise the junior but she admitted Shruti was smart and intelligent. Rosh pushed hard the glass door, which had a poster on it that read:

" No limits
No rules
No fears. "

This words define why JK was the king in the world of law and order? Entering the office, one would be taken aback with another interesting quote on attitude and personality JK had a beautiful office with plush interiors. He had his cabin, where he use to have client meetings and would spend his half day, during working days. He loved to sit with his team in an open office environment at their terrace garden, upstairs. The garden had a swing, dining space and beautiful flower saplings that JK had collected from different parts of the world.

He just had three people on his team. Rosh handled woman-centric cases. Vishal was the man who handled everything but took commission from clients. JK never took an extra penny from his clients.

Vishal collected the evidence and JK used his brain and every case on this universe was solved with 100 percent results. Shruti was all for one assistant.

Mishti and Aki would join JK, as supporting actors and loved to work with him, completely free of cost. Aki helped him with written matters and Mishti would help him with typing and she boasted that she was his full-time secretary but JK never shouted at this sweetheart, while for others he was the mixture of hot and cool boss

Shruti sees JK and Roshini have stepped, inside the office and as any normal day, she stood up to greet them:

Good morning Saar

JK: Morning

Shruti: Saar, I have checked your emails, just two emails were urgent and have drafted a reply. Can I sit with you now?

JK: I will call you in ten minutes and gestures to Roshini to get a cup of coffee. He enters his cabin.

Rosh to Shruti: What Saar Saar? allow him to breathe and have his coffee.

Shruti: Sorry Madam, but Saar looks drained today, any problem and He did not give me his cute smile.

Rosh: His smile is magical but doesn't eat his brains with your questions today or you will be sacked, young lady.

Shruti: Old lady, say did Madam (Mishti) fight with him today?

Rosh: No, not really.

Shruti: Doesn't Madam fight with him, I think he is scared of her.

Rosh: Madam is very Chalu ( Witty here). She shouts at him when she is jealous of something. She can't stand any woman giving looks to her hero. If he argues then she will show her crocodile tears like you and you know then What happens!!!

Shruti: But Madam, Doesn't seem jealous of me. I always chit chat with Saar and she too takes my side.

Rosh: You dare to smooch him or simply hug him in front of Madam Kama, you will see the real voracious, wild Madam Tigeress. She will tear you down into pieces. Eat you up!!!

Shruti: Smooch never, but I feel to hug him sometimes but never dare and I give him Hi-Fi.

Rosh: I hug him at least 4 - 5 times a day.

Shruti: And Madam?

Rosh: Just for the Good night. He runs away in fact if he feels she has lost her track. He feels he is old, poor Madam.

Shruti was lost in thoughts and she was looking at the ceiling, biting her pencil.

Rosh: Come with me to the pantry to make some coffee. Espresso for Saaaaar and Latte for us.

They make coffee together. Shruti suddenly says:

I thought they are lovey-dovey love birds, who make love every day. I have seen Madam smooching him in ice cream parlour but luckily they did not see me.

Rosh: Hey, pervert really

Both giggle and Rosh heads to JK's cabin with coffee.
