JK and Pinky reached home as promised to Mary by 6:30 pm. Mary was laying on the couch and crying. JK and Pinky wanted to console her. They knew it was due to Sudhi and JK darling was missing his sweetheart friend too. Pinky gestured him that she will make Mary laugh at any cost and she is thinking of an idea. She was doing gestures and they spoke in sign language. They were good in that as on Sunday afternoon they liked to see the news for deaf and mute at Doordarshan.
Suddenly, they heard a thud sound and Mary raised her head and screamed:
Ann baby slowly. Once you are done. Call me....
JK : Momma, what happened?
Mary: Leave me alone, you donkey...
JK: Did, l do something?
Mary: Please Jai, don't irritate me.... Go and play with Ann. Her family is out for a funeral. She will be scared, so Aunty left her here. Janet is at Bakery. Go and see, if she is drinking milk....
JK: I am irritating right. I am not listening to you.
He screamed.... I am going back to hostel and never talk to you....
He went to his room and Pinky had to handle the situation.
Mary: Pinky don't allow him to go. See what is that little one is doing?
Pinky : Are you OK?
Mary : Yes I am but I am missing Sudhi. How can he be so mean? I love him a lot. Anyways, I want to be alone for sometime...
Pinky: Do you want kadak chai
(strong tea). I want to talk to you about my day. Let me know once you will feel good.
Mary: I don't want tea. I just had Complan. Thank you for your concern, darling. I will be alright in no time.
Pinky went into the Kitchen and saw Ann was sitting under the table. Julie (cat) 😼was sitting down with her. There was milk spilled near her and she was licking. It was clear that Ann had deliberately dropped the milk for Julie. There was a bowl with a fruit cake and 3/4 glass milk on the table.
Ann was caressing Julie and Pinky did not interrupt. She kept water to boil for the tea and then went to JK's room. He was muttering alone looking at some photographs.
She stood at the door and hissed....

JK : What you want?
Pinky : I want your Dil (Heart).
JK : You have it already....
Pinky : Then why do you dream Janet?
JK : Because I like her...
Pinky : You will Dream Rani today...
JK : I will do Hanuman Chalisa... Booth Pisach Nikat Nahi Awe ...
Pinky found it funny and went near him. She touched his feet and said : Swami, Aap Mahan Hoo. ( You are Great).
JK : Say Toosey great Ho!!!!!! (You are great)
Ann screamed: Fairy, I am scared... Come to kit kit kit... Kitchen....
Pinky : Excuse me, my Love, Ceeeeeeeeeee you.... (See)
She went to the kitchen and saw Ann had eaten the cake but milk was untouched....
Pinky : You don't drink milk why? If you don't then Police will arrest you...
