JK was in thought process about the various episodes of the day...
The romantic sandwich time, bunking, arguments, sleeping in class, get out and small fights; all moments bombarded one after other.
The day was full of mixed emotions. He was advised by his friend Chulbul once:
"If one is sad then one needs to divert the mind towards good moments and write about ten best memories of life."
JK would write more than 50 and he felt happy.
The day had some warm moments to cherish like Pinky's massage, calling home, cooking and sleeping with his love together with pure love.
Pinky and JK knew their boundary line. Though they touched eachother, kissed or hugged, they decided to be physically intimate, only if they got married.
JK suddenly giggled imagining his first night at his beautiful Terrace room in his Haveli home in Punjab.
His eyes went on the fennel seed candy bottle on the table in the living room, where he was sitting. He came back to senses after reading the word Rani Fennel seeds, written on the bottle. Rani and her thoughts gave him negative vibes, though Rani showed extra affection towards him, after he shifted to Goa for studies. Though he too loved her but still he did not like to think about her.
The worst part of this day was Sudhi's fight that flashed into his thoughts. He was totally crest fallen, but did not bring it on his face.
Pinky was upset too. She was sad about the fact that Sudhi often misunderstood them and questioned their chastity.
"A girl can't tolerate it and it was the question of her esteem.."
JK and Sudhi often had fights on petty things but they loved eachother from the bottom of their heart. Pinky's entry in his life brought in a strain in his friendship with his Yaar Sudhi. It was clear Sudhi did not like his girlfriend and he had a deep grudge for Pinky.
But for JK both were important and precious.
He believed in building relationships and not breaking them. If, he argued or fought with someone, he would say sorry first, no matter he would be right and the other person be wrong.
He wanted to talk to Mary? Where was she? Did she fight with Sudhi or was there any other problem? He was not getting answers for his questions.
"He felt his life is day by day getting complicated."
He was stressed and Pinky was making origami cats, sitting next to him with craft paper. Both were silent and JK heard a big thud in Pinky's room. Both the lovers silently got up from the couch and held eachother's hands. They had a smile that spoke their heart out . JK slightly opened the door of her room and he saw two cute cats were making love on Pinky's bed. He was happy, while Pinky was not. She screamed and the cats jumped out of the window...
