Jassi was panicked, she did not know what to do? JK looked dead and the fear of killing a young brother choked her.
Yes, she loved JK and with fear, she was feeling pained and numb on the very thought, if he was dead?
What will she say to his parents or family?
Will police arrest her?
Is he really dead?
All thoughts made her heart beat go faster. She took his chin in her hands and moved his head right and left . JK did not move.
Then, she got an idea to check his heart beat, pulse rate and breathing. She laid her head on his chest and she heard the heartbeats. JK new what she was doing and wanted to laugh.
He remembered the Balu story: "A friend in need is friend indeed."
His heart was beating. She was relieved, but to double check,she checked his pulse, she could not know the technique to read them.
She brought her hands close to his nose, but couldn't feel his breath. She started crying and couldn't imagine that he is gone. She again checked his Dhak Dhak (Heart beat) and it was on. But,she felt may be she is feeling his heart beat because she is scared. She thought she will give a last try and started singing:
Chanda hai tu Mera Suraj hai tu O meri aankhon ka Tara hai tu
Jeeti hun main, bas tujhe dekhkar Is toote dil ka Sahaara hai tu
Tu khele khel kai, Mera khilona hein tu Nanha sa hai kitna sundar hai tu Chota sa hein kitna pyaara hein tu
But JK, the great drama king did not react.
She howled and would have gathered the family. JK had bad cough and he was trying to control it from coming out. He coughed hard and opened his eyes. He softly called :
Didi
Jassi kissed him, but she was crying.
JK: Didi, you are dangerous. You almost killed me.
Jassi: I was angry with you and I know why Rani Matha is after your life? You are irritating, brat, stupid, arrogant, rude and all bad words in the Oxford dictionary and you are a bad boy. I hate you. Get lost...
She woke up from the bed and went to the door, pretending to exit from the room.
JK was sad and teary...
He shouted: Didi don't leave me alone and I am sorry. I will never ask about Uncle. You stay here with me and I promise, l will never ever bother you. Since, then JK hated the word Uncle and over - react, if anyone called him so in the future...
Jassi: Tu Buddhu hein ( You are an idiot). She took a glass of water and gave to him.
She shouted: Uparse Pee (Drink with keeping the glass distanced from your mouth).
JK obeyed her and drank half of the water. He handed the half - full glass to Jassi and she too drank the water,as she had instructed him to do. Ekdam Upar se
They both sat on the bed and enjoyed the cricket (insect) sound. Jassi had put her hands on his shoulders. She was still in panic attack and the act of strangling her younger one to death was terrible. JK was coughing badlyand his heart was beating still faster...
He had a problem, since childhood, his heart beats were very fast and if he was not well then it would go double fast.
He had an acidity pain, an year back and he was hospitalised. Hospi people had taken his Cardiogram. He had seen Rani and Adi weeping loudly in the hospital. But later doctor had told his parents that his heart is normal but it is just that it beats fast. Quite normal he is and just check, if he was weak at times or breath fast. In that case, they can consult him, if any of these symptoms persists .
Jassi: Your heart beats are scary boy. I hope you are OK. Don't tell about this to Anil (his younger brother. Ravi was not born).
JK : Ani hardly talks DD (his tongue slipped). He just come to me to solve his Maths problem. Nilu Bhaiya too don't talk much. I just have you. You beat me up or kill me, I will love you forever. I feel,very lonely at times...
Jassi: Even l live for you my boy. I know, l am a vamp but I fear loosing you... You call me DD (Detective Didi).
JK : l am bad and you don't worry, I won't die easily but I am serious, I want to know what is Death? Seriously Didi tell me what is that? I have seen on TV, dead people are motionless. They are dressed in white, decorated with flowers and burnt with Chandan. They become a star and Rain Bhaiya is one.
He was just going on and on and Jassi pretended to sleep.
Time was 11:45 and JK heard something fell in his room and he was scared?
He saw something moving like a Shadow.
With shiver, he said :
Rain Bhaiya are you there?
Another thud sound he heard...

Note: I am enjoying to write about Jassi and JK because I have lost my sister and a close cousin. I miss the fun we had . I sometimes feel my Sister is around me and she is my angel. I don't get emotional. I hate RIP message and feel she is alive in my heart.
Life is beautiful with ever green memories. Dedicated to siblings and cousins. A great hug to my readers who follow me. Though I don't have big fan follower but I am out of the box...
