"Hello dad."

"Ah, I'm glad you know who this is. Surprise!"

"Cut the shit. What do you want and how did you get my number?"

"My little girl is cussing? What a shame." He said sarcastically. I could almost hear his eyes rolling as he spoke. "Forget how I got your number. That's not the important part here. I'm calling because I have something you might want."

"And what is that?"

"I got my hands on some high quality pictures of you and your boy toy. What's his name again? The one with the dark hair?"

"Zayn." I whispered.

"Oh, is that his name? Well, I have a few photos in my possession that I can promise you you won't want to leak."

"Leave Zayn out of this! He didn't do shit to you!" I yelled into the phone.

"But you did shit to me! You ruined my life and now I'm going to ruin yours and the person you love most."

"I don't love him." I lied.

"Don't pull that shit with me. Whether you like it or not I'm still your dad and I know you more than the media who are complete idiots. They can't see through your lies but I can."

"Then what do you want from me?"

"$500,000." He said simply.

"Money? You're blackmailing me for money?"

"Yes. Unless you want me to ask for more-"

"No. If it's money you want then fine."

"Good. But there's two more little things I need from you. Promises, that is." He said.

"What are they?"

"You can't call the police and you have to bring the money to me yourself. Alone."

"Done." I agreed without a second thought.

"Good. Come meet me at my hotel before your show."

"I can't get the money to you by then are you serious?"

"You will if you don't want these pictures all over every magazine and social networking site by midnight tonight."

"Fine." I hissed into the phone. "Text me the address and I'll be there as soon as I can."

"Good. Nice talking to you again baby girl. I can't wait to see you." He said, then hung up the phone.

-----------------------------

"Your dad what?" Lola exclaimed.

I was currently in a room filled with my band mates and the entirety of One Direction. Including Zayn. I had decided to explain to them part of my situation because it could interfere with the show schedule. But it turned more into a riot.

"He wants $500,000 before the show tonight or else he's going to release some information to the media that will ruin everything. I can't let that happen."

"That's blackmailing, Megan. We have to call the police!" Alex said.

"We can't. I promised him they wouldn't get involved."

"Well at least take one of us guys with you. That way we can take care of him if he tries anything." Liam suggested.

I shook my head no. It was too risky to go against my father's wishes.

"I have to go alone and I have to go now. No police and no tricks. I'm going to let one of the drivers take me over to his hotel and give him the check and it will be done. If I'm not back at the venue in time and you can't get ahold of me, that's when you can call the police."

"Babe, are you sure about this?" Niall said, grabbing my hand in his. "I don't want you to get hurt."

"I'll be fine." I said, kissing him on the forehead.

"Okay. Well you only have a little bit before the show starts so you might want to get going." I heard somebody say. I couldn't focus on who because from the corner of my eye I caught Zayn getting up and slipping out the door.

"Uh, yeah. I'm going to write the check then get going. I'll see you guys at the venue."

"Call us if he gives you any shit." Louis said. I forced a laugh through my nerves and then left to head to the garage.

I found one of the SUV's sitting in the VIP parking area and jumped in the back, a driver already in the front seat.

"The Motel 6 on Trinity Street please. Don't ask questions."

"Of course ma'am." A husky voice replied. It must have been the boys driver since I didn't recognize him.

He pulled out on the street and started towards my destination. My heart seemed to pound harder and harder with every passing minuet. I tried to distract myself by focusing on the driver. I noticed that he wasn't wearing the usual chauffeur uniform. Not even close to it actually. Instead of a suit, he was wearing a leather jacket, sunglasses, and his fingers were decorated with rings. I looked into the rear-view mirror and studied his face for a moment before I loudly gasped in realization.

"Zayn? What the fuck are you doing?" I squealed.

"Did you really think I was going to let you go alone?"
