When you try to come out to your mom and she shrugs it off

So um I tried to come out subtly to my mom yesterday? By just saying "uh it's Troye" and she was kinda like "fine total drama Troye" and she proceeded to use my birth name for the rest of the day like,, I corrected her and she kept saying something else? Like she's smart she worked on an ambulance and is gonna be a teacher but idk

But yeah life is crazy when your mom shrugs off you coming out subtly
